30+ miscers, are you where you thought you would be in life as a teenager?
I remember back in the glory days when misc was mostly high school and college kids. Everyone was so positive, just **** talking and telling each other we were all gonna make it, get swole, and ceo 10k/day in the future.
I just came back and this place is kinda depressing. People only talk about how the world is going to hell and how there's no hope for mankind anymore.
I hate seeing my misc bros like this. What happened brahs? When did you all give up on your dreams?

I was a burnout in high school, had zero expectations for where my life would go.

no, but i would be happy with where i am for sure. Owning a nice new house, new car, hot young smart loving wife, look way better than i thought i would, still lean and healthy, understand much more about the world, only thing is i would have like to be in a cooler career but i would have been happy with the money i make and how easy my work life is. Also have a really good social circle for my amount of free time.

Blew way past my expectations. I was a complete moron as a teenager that had no direction or motivation to really do anything positive, other than weightlifting for football. (Ded fkn Srs)

I thought I'd be a respected person in public life.
Being a white male, I have zero respect outsideimmediatefamily however.
I have a hot wife, family and house/possessions though. So that part was correct.

this is what black/indian males have faced plenty in this country, im no SJW but lettuce be cereal they were not respected for many years and still arent highly in many places
so if we are going to tell them to not be victims and complain about it its probably not good to do the same when its not really even remotely the same
we earn our own respect and fuk anyone who disrespects you for no reason, dont worry about it

There are plenty of really successful, happy people on here
I think we just have a lot of crazies who drown them out these days.
Anyways, have a better life than I ever could have imagined. It says something that I don't really want to elaborate because it means dealing with the lunatics I mentioned above.

I dunno, I'm not totally happy where I'm at, but I have enough money to make a change if I want. Which I'll likely do.

There are some time capsule threads (we meet again in xxxx) miscers used to create annually that would be an interesting read for some of the OG posters. I found one of mine not long ago which made me cringe but also feel proud of what I’ve accomplished. Can’t find it now though.

I do have more money and look better than I ever would have thought though so I guess it wasn't all bad. Still forever alone though...

I never really gave my future much thought back then and really have sort of just taken it as it comes.
Even after years of marriage and such I never really had it figured out.
That said i am pretty happy with where I am. Not rich or anything but dont need to be to be happy with what I have. Freedom for me has always been key. I have tons of that now which is wonderful.
