Been getting the top or near-top Samsung phone every time I get a new phone srs. These days that's like $900-1200. I don't care about the fold tech (yet), but might in the future when the design gets better in newer models.

Get a new phone every 3 years, unless you 1) break/lose the phone or 2) the newest phone has amazing need-to-have features like 5G when it came out for example.

EDIT: On that note, I noticed that Samsung gets those newer features before everyone else almost. S20 series seemed to be one of the only phones with 5G for a while. Same with BlueTooth 5.1/5.2.

S22 Ultra. First phone I will probably use until it fails. Thing does literally everything. Not exactly unique to the S22 Ultra but just saying......as a recent convert from the walled garden.

Samsung A21
Switched from Samsung S series over a year ago. Broke old phone and A21 cost $100 so thought I'd try it out. Not going back to S because I can't tell any difference. srs

Samsung S22 Ultra. I used to get budget phones, but my last boss was doing a substantial amount of work from his Apple 13 pro - banking and whatnot. I went to the store to buy one and the sales guy told me the S22 Ultra was better for my uses. Put them side by side, and the Samsung just seemed better

It's awesome. I was at a concert at the United Center a couple weeks ago sitting in the cheap seats in the upper deck. I decided to do a little recording, and zoomed into the stage, the quality of the video is like what my samsung A series would have recorded from 25 yards away. The woman next to me started trying to record for a few minutes, and I could see her looking between her phone and mine. Finally she stopped and asked me if I would send her my video after the show because what the hell kind of phone is that...

Imagine not having a pixel 6 with graphene os. A phone that doesnt spy on you, and battery lasts well over 24 hours with still 50% battery left. And thats just the 6a.

Just purchased a Samsung A53 and had to put down my old S8Plus. Screen was starting to bleed pretty bad finally but still worked great. 1/2 price of an S series phone.
