Where are all the Doomer threads?
In a nutshell:
1. Russia might use tactical nukes;
2. Housing market is collapsing;
3. Currencies are collapsing;
4. "Quiet quitting" is a "norm";
5. Something changed in 2007;
6. "Opting out" is the only solution;
Did I miss anything? Trying to keep up to date, to ensure I can wield my cash flow in a predatory way against the masses that don't seem to believe in this great country.

I'm still feeling good.
-The labor market cracked on Monday. We just had 2nd biggest monthly jobs-opening decrease on record. Currently there are hiring freezes across the board, even in high-margin, wide-moat Big Tech.
-The bond market cracked and is showing signs of severe distress. Treasury spreads are deeply negative (guaranteed recession indicator if they go negative at all), and are pricing in a worse crash than 2000. The UK had to intervene in their bond market last week to prevent a pension fund collapse. Right now the UN is begging USA to stop hiking so globalpoors don't default.
-The stock market is down 30% from ATHs, and still has room to fall. I believe 7 of last 10 days have been red. P/Es are still way too high, but stock prices will fall when the Es come in chitty at the end of this month.
-Real estate transactions are at the lowest volume in 20 years. Just a matter of time before prices catch up to low demand there
And the guys engineering all of this have shown no sign of stopping. They intend to continue financial tightening through next year, and will only stop if we hit '08 mode first. While they keep restricting the money supply, the cracks above will only widen.

There is definitely a trade off though. It isn't like the cities don't have a lot of amenities that rural areas just do not have.
I'm thinking of making an exploratory drive soon-ish. Parts of the country generally labeled Appalachia- good rainfall, pretty scenery...rivers and lakes, hills and valleys, lots of trees. Also hot, but not the hottest [higher elevations] and cold, but not MI/WI/MN cold. Very few large cities.
