What impact will Roe v Wade have on midterms

Before this I feel like it was going to be a red wave due to all the BS happening in this administration

Then Roe v Wade gets overturned and all of that is swept under the rug

Are women going to be voting D heavy in November?

Funny how all the Trump tards here think we voted out Trump because of "mean tweets" when this is the real reason. Oh and also he tried to overthrow the election he lost and violated his oath to the Constitution.

Lindsay Graham and Little Marco are "trying" to pass a nationwide abortion bill that has no chance of actually passing to fire up D voters.

The GOP is once again aiding the Dems, they don't want to blow Dems out lol.

They don't want Donald Trump.

Florida
Rubio is embracing Graham's federal abortion ban. Florida Dems see an opening.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla — Republican Florida Sen. Marco Rubio is co-sponsoring a bill that would ban abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy nationwide, giving critics another opening to attack him ahead of the November election on an issue that has energized Democrats.

It's the ONE issue that Democrats are running on.

I actually hate that this happened, the Republicans could have had a major sweep with the midterms.

If Bottom feeders want to get an abortion, let them. It'll benefit society.

That absolutely is the reason why, since all of your laughingstock party’s “gotcha” attempts blew up in their face. The only thing Trump is guilty of is hurting your feelings on Twitter and taking away HER TURN.

You seem confused. The only election overthrow attempt came when you people cried “Russian collision” non stop for six years now and counting.

So you threw Trump out because of his stance on abortion? Does your wife have a lot of abortions?

Actually he can't keep up with his lies, he claims to have 4 sons, all grown up, supposedly all graduated college, top of the class, the next, he's claiming he has to take his "kid" to soccer practice.

Now with the original lie, he had a meltdown on the misc, because people were making fun of him for being in his mid-50s, acting the way he does.

The constitution doesn’t protect the right to abortion, so the precedent set by roe v wade (an unelected group of a few judges deciding legislature for an entire country where they have no authority) would be quite devastating. It was rightfully overturned.

Now the people get to vote to decide, which is how it was always intended.

Overturning roe vs wade is being framed as making abortion illegal, but it’s really giving the power back to citizens. Want abortions- vote for it. Don’t want abortions- vote against it. If you are a politician running in a state, you better align with the ideals of the people you wish to represent.

15 weeks would be more generous than nearly every European country (aside from 2 I believe). And it was European leaders that ridiculed the overturning of roe vs. wade.

15 weeks is reasonable with medical exemptions. If you push it to 20, you are quickly approaching the age of viability.

It's a higher priority issue on the pro-choice side now. I am pro-choice, but when RvW was in place, abortion ranked really low on the priority list of issues I consider in a candidate because it didn't matter whether a candidate was pro-life or not because there was SCOTUS protection in place. Now that it's not in place, I need to consider this issue. Since SCOTUS kicked the issue down to the states, it's a much more significant issue for state elections than federal, but if Graham and Rubio are trying to push a federal abortion ban through the Senate, then it's going to become more high profile for federal elections as well, unfortunately. I'm not a single issue voter, so abortion isn't the only thing I look at, but it is something now where it really didn't even register last time. My GOP Congressman, who I've supported since he was first elected in 2016, has been completely silent on the issue. I would really like to get some sort of position from him on the Graham-Rubio bill before I make my final decision. He typically takes a moderate and thoughtful approach to most issue, which is what I like, but I never paid any attention to his abortion stance in the past.

Its the only ads I see the (D) running.

On top of that you have the propaganda machine supporting their narrative by constantly running stories on how woman are going to be Locked up....

They're really trying to get out the black female vote as Ive see a few stores just simply browsing nightly news, etc about how black woman won't be allowed to abort their babies anymore because of this.

For Illinois I keep seeing an ad, where this 300lb Hispanic lady talks about abortion. Keep thinking to myself, "Who the **** wants to have a kid with this woman?"

Up here in MN they keep showing an add with this overweight man almost crying about how his daughter might not be able to have an abortion. It’s as cringe as it gets.

GOPers flabbergasted as they learn that the polls about the majority/plurality of Americans were in fact against abortion bans.

The Republicans keep pushing pro life bull****, which is a losing battle for them.

The Democrats keep pushing firearm regulation, which is a losing battle for them.

But they'll still get their smooth brain sheep to keep voting for them.

Rinse, repeat.

Wake up.

Probably. I see it neutering the pro life force making republicans even less relevant plus it may not even be necessary on the federal level. The left may be able to get abortion through on the state level after a few election cycles.

Just like the left, the right in the US talks a lot of **** about you do you, and I'll do me, until it comes to something they are passionate about.

Then comes out the secret police or the religious police patrols.

Why weren't you in church on Sunday?

lol @ conceding such a heinous act for the fantasy of winning over a few purple haired votes. Keep doing that and the only difference between the two parties will be varying shades of the same thing, which means going back to their default settings, but with the modern flavoring that's become much more unapologetically present in the 2 last years.

The simple acceptance of something like abortion has a demoralizing impact on society, like many of the things that are promoted in "clown world". This isn't as trivial of an issue as everyone makes it out to be.

Also, how many potential aborted kids have you adopted?

Abortion has existed for thousands of years. Thing is, with it being legal, it can be done in a proper, hygienic setting with clean tools, and professionals nearby in case something goes wrong.

I would be more concerned about who is behind the curtain at 3am counting the votes than i am who is sitting on the supreme court.

Thats who is making the actual decisions in elections.

Would you have people executed for speeding on the highway?

Is that an absurd analogy? It's just as stupid as the question you've just asked me.

We should legalize human sacrifice in order for it to become more sanitary. After all human sacrifice has been around for thousands of years.
