This 90s song has some brutal lyrics

I heard this on the radio and it brought back memories of the amazing 90s but the song is sad itself.

Yeah some of that 90's and early 2000's music is brutal. Couldn't be released today. With a lot of that music you can really feel the emotion in the chords and lyrics.

3EB Semi Charmed Kind of Life fits the bill. Catchy tune but dark theme.

I get sad when I hear 90s and early 2000s music as I was traveling all over the Caribbean scuba diving and sailing in my 20s and had a baby in the early 2000s. It was the time of my life. My family member was a professional athlete so we went to the after parties with the other players.

The 90s were great times as there was no social media and people were friendlier to each other. The music was great, the movies were great, and the general feeling was awesome. The internet was just emerging but that was before it got toxic.

Truth. I miss the hell out of the 90’s. It was the best era. The internet was great at first. Smartphones changed everything. The electronic leash that we’re all addicted to has created some major problems within society. 90’s music will always be the best. So many good bands with creative song writing. There were a lot of blah bands in there too that wrote songs with 3 power chords but even many of those still had creative lyrics with substance.
This body holding me, be my reminder here that I am not alone.
Makes me feel eternal, all this Pain is an Illusion.
