Good to know Ecto is at least partly trolling, but I honestly think he's also completely unaware. Like the reality that GDP is always measured against inflation, not measured as a raw number. Basic chit we learn as teenagers that I think he honestly didn't know. If we measured inflation the way we did pre mid 1990s, it would be over 15%, higher than 40 years ago or Jimmy Carter era. So measuring GDP against true inflation and we're down more like 3% through the first half of 2022.

There are bright spots for the long-term (manufacturing), but the Brandon Admin is fuking a lot of things up. OPEC+ is expected to announce a ~2 million bpd decrease in oil production. Fuark!! That's what happens when your international relations suck ass, and you're pushing a proxy war, half based on butthurt feelz from the Cold War era. Brandon's being the first Admin to have open hostility with Saudi Arabia since the 1970s oil embargo sure doesn't help either.

kind of like how they send all our money to their ukraine accounts and leave all these problems at home with no solution or money to solve them, we have bums in every street and cities destroyed by rain and winds and they keep shuttling all our money into their scam overseas.

Its their complete disconnect to reality and its why normal people and democrat/communists can never co exist. They are completely fine with Nation destroying policies like open borders, and enjoy spending our actual money on prosecuting their political rivals and fattening their own accounts under the auspice of "humanitarian aid" when theres many many more pressing matters (that they created) right here at home.

I have completely lost all respect for any one who continues to vote blue and at this point must count them as domestic terrorists.

When Alexander Hamilton proposed the idea of a central government, he explained that debt creates power. The more money people owe you, the more power you have over them. This is the idea that broke up the unity of the libertarians and federalist. Jefferson even pointed out that it would eventually lead to farmers in the west being in debt to the bankers NY and such an idea would surely lead to absolute corruption and tyranny. Not even NYers wanted it, but Hamilton lied to them and said it would stay small.

As a result, Jefferson and Adam's never spoke to each other until they both were dying.

Maybe Ecto was referring to theBoomof nuclear weapons, now claimed by Biden as a serious threat, less than two years into his failed administration built on failed policies...

https://www.cnbc.com/2022/10/07/bide...62-crisis.html

President Joe Biden said Thursday that the risk of nuclear “Armageddon” is at the highest level since the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis, as Russian officials speak of the possibility of using tactical nuclear weapons after suffering massive setbacks in the eight-month invasion of Ukraine.

Speaking at a fundraiser for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, Biden said Russian President Vladimir Putin was “a guy I know fairly well” and the Russian leader was “not joking when he talks about the use of tactical nuclear weapons or biological or chemical weapons.”

It's not like he has any friends, romantic life, or a job. Trolling the r/p with hilariously false charts and embarrassing memes is all he has in life.

Not exactly a surprise, considering the fact that most hardcore leftists are at the absolute bottom of society's totem pole.

The day Trump took office there were 12,366,000 manufacturing jobs. On his last day in office there were 12,184,000. A loss of -182,000 high-paying manufacturing jobs!!!

On Biden's first there 12,184,000 manufacturing jobs. Today there are 12,880,000 high-paying manufacturing jobs!!! A gain of +696,000 high-paying manufacturing jobs!!!

Ecto is trolling. I had my doubts anyone could be so stupid, and I was correct. No one is that dumb. Dude's just trying to get a rise out of the R/P.

Anyway, manufacturing is coming back to the US, and it got a big shot in the arm with Trump chitting on neoliberal globalism. China is a dead man walking, and not just because they are losing population. They are no longer the cheap place to make stuff they used to be. Labor costs have gone way up, so prices of goods have too, let alone the increased costs of shipping across the Pacific. But the sunk costs of factories and supply chains built there means manufacturing coming back to North America (including a lot for Mexico) will be a slow, steady pace. In 2030 some of the manufacturing hubs of China will start to resemble the US Rust Belt - abandoned and getting rusty.

Nearby here there are three big factories being built - a Toyota battery plant, a Vietnamese car maker that makes exclusively EVs, and a domestic microprocessor factory.A decade ago all three of those would have been built in China, but they're being built in NC instead. No President made those happen. Those are just time catching up to China's future stagnation.

In other words, hey China.....

Yeah Buddyyy! Light weight! Light weight baby!!!!

But will they stay here? We have loser generations asking for $22 an hour to flip burgers
