Don’t fill your head with this. There will always be tragedy in the world. People will always make their decisions. It’s impossible to protect others from themselves all the time. Its honestly what gets us to extremism. The archetypal Anti hero ends up doing more harm than good; the means justifies the ends.

Had a buddy with a pit come over for a few beers. Him and my other friend got into the weeds of pit stats compared to other dogs. Guy is a liberal through and through.

First thing I noticed was he was completely unaware of their stats compared to other dogs. Had no idea and seemed dumbfounded that they attack other dogs at a higher rate as well as murder toddlers at a higher rate.

Second thing he did after the stats were presented to him on a phone was immediately start giving excuses for why those stats could be wrong. Jumped right into "well was the dog provoked?" "But did the owners train him?" "what were the kids doing to the dog?".

Once the bully breed brain worm bites, its all over.

I don't expect her to be john wick or something and the lady looks to be 110lbs, but in 10 minutes I would expect her to be able to kill one of the dogs at least. Maybe she instantly tried to stop them and fell down or something. I don't think I'd have been some action movie star and easily dispatched the hounds, but my god, 10 minutes? Very sad. RIP.

I keep having to remind myself that these were 2 60+ pound pitbull’s, not just one, in a confined space with no time to react. They would be working as a team, as a pack. This is a place people think they are safe, so they let their guard down. Ambush is a bish.

Every one of these cases it's poorly bred dogs origins unknown, picked up at the shelter, found on the side of the road, given away for free in the walmart parking lot. Then the owners seem to be poorly bred themselves. Then they are crap parents. I see it all of the time where people let their kids tug on a dogs tail or face, ears, ect, get in the dogs face, harass the dog constantly. Honestly I'm surprised this doesn't happen even more often.

Cussed a guy out a few years ago. His son got bit by a German Shepherd at a park. What was going on? His son was running up behind the dog trying to scare it and did it multiple times with the owner right there who asked him to stop. The mom saw the dog had tags and the bite was very minor. The father was furious she (the mom they were divorced) didn't the guy's info, starts going on a tirade about that and I let him know if he wanted to get the authorities involved it will be brought up that he raised his kids to do that. Told him he was a chit father for not teaching his kids how to interact with a dog and he did this stupid "you don't have kids you don't know" STFU dude, you are a chit parent. Otherwise I get it a lot with my dogs where people let their kids run up to my dogs face and I correct it. My dogs won't, but some will, and the fact is they don't know.

Honestly it sounds like you have a couple pits and you are defending the breed. There is no defense at this point. No other breed rips children in half and thats a fact. Did the owners **** up by letting wild animals around their kids? Yeah I guess. But people like you defending land sharks is just as bad. Let me guess it would never happen to you.

They are poorly bred as they were bred to not acknowledged pain and keep attacking. That is what they were bred for. But im sure you know that
