Misc has definitely declined. I’m not even talking from it’s heyday. That’s a given. I mean even from a year ago. We actually had a resurgence after COVID hit. Some OG posters came back, some newcomers rose to become respectable names. There was lulz, interesting awares, hnnnng content, thought provoking threads. Even the political debates were more civil.

Sadly many drifted away after they went back to work. Some of the best ones got banned.

Now misc is only tolerable later into the evening. The forum is dead during the day. Threads will get maybe a half dozen replies at best. The only posters online are the incels doomers, obnoxious alt trolls and ph@ggots posting racial hatred. Once we get around 5-10pm east coast time it reverts to a closer version of the misc we all love, but it’s just not the same...

The problem is you're focusing on the things in life that don't really matter. When I was a kid I had hopes and dreams. We all did. But over time, the daily grind gets in the way and you miss the things that really matter, even though they are right in front of you, staring you in the face.
