I think we've had this discussion many times.

In war of this type attrition and war economy are the most important factors.

Taking and controlling land is not meaningful unless it offers a strategic advantage to progress the other two previously mentioned elements.

Russia has just bombed all of the Ukranian power grids and other key infrastructure. This is a process that will continue over the next few weekas. We will see a priority list off targets attacked until there's not much worth bombing.

I suspect this has a two fold objective. 1. Directly interrupt the Ukranian war economy. 2. Interrupt western operations and supplies in Ukraine.

I have said for sometime that Russia should make western Ukriane into an unpredicbable and dangerous environment. Once those areas are inhospitable westerners will quickly disappear.

Americans for the most part are very adapt at war operations but they have a low tolerance for losses. Hit a few of their command centres and they will all disappear.

if I were them I would also attack from the North. This would once again make Russian operations unpredictable, it will destabalise the western region of the country and force Ukranian forces out of the East. This will help achieve the overall objective of capturing the territories with disproportionate Russian populations.

So we agree, hence like I said yesterday. Russia can't keep up if the west keeps supporting Ukraine.
