Well that escalated quickly

Braves like to do everything the hard way though, so losing this one isn’t shocking.

1. Be under .500 at the trade deadline last year, win the division
2. Lose Ronald Acuna down the stretch last year, win the WS anyway
3. Start the first two months playing terrible and fall 10.5 GB, catch fire in June and climb all the way back in early Sept to take the lead
4. Piss away chances in Sept to force a situation where you have to sweep Scherzer, deGrom, and Bassittt… sweep them anyway.
