I've said it before and I've said it again - you can have one or two beers for a very long time in life.

You are not going to have 'one or two lines' of coke past the 1st time using it.

Sure, alcohol is addictive and ruins lives, but not like coke, meth, or heron - although i've heard reports that it is addictive to certain people who respond to it 'better' or in a superior way.

Weed IS legal is some western countries, but the problem is that it stays in your system for along time and affects your performance, even the next day after smoking a bit.

Having a couple of drinks means you sober up and just feel bored after.

Because it's been around in society for thousands of years, even though I'll agree alcohol is worse than alot of other recreational drugs.

Only problem with other drugs like coke, mdma, cannabis etc is they're not regulated unlike alcohol.

If they were actually decriminalised and regulated it would it be much more beneficial. Crime would go down, dealers would go bust, could stimlate more money into the economy etc.

Retarded how most countries don't just legalise most drugs.

Agree, if some of those other drugs were legal I’d never buy alcohol. I’ve used everything except H and nothing has caused me even 1% of the damage to my life as alcohol has.

People who are prone to addiction should avoid all drugs. I don't see anything wrong with having a couple beers a few nights a week.

Aslong as you don't let it interfere with your daily life it's nice to relax & unwind i consider it good for my mental health.

But i do agree with OP other drugs like weed for example should be legal & i'd probably choose that over alcohol.

It’s messed up that you’ll see drinkers talking about weed smokers as if they are beneath them. Alcohol is one of the hardest drugs available and it’s just as much of a drug as *******. If you’re addicted to alcohol you are a drug addict. Not to mention it’s one of the few drugs that can actually kill you if you just quit after drinking too often. It’s probably destroyed more lives than meth has 10 fold. Drinking in moderation is one thing but it’s no different than someone doing any other drug in moderation. Yet because it’s so widely accepted you’ll se pure alkys coping like it above any other form of addiction.

I think a factor as to why it's considered less of a 'drug' is the lack of any real comedown.

Mdma and coke, you're serotonin/dopamine is so out of whack after that you feel like a different person, completely void of any possibility of enjoyment again.

You can get super wasted and still get up and go about your day somewhat fine. Same with weed, there's no real comedown.
