would you move Derrick Henry for these two instead?

I hate doing all this with big name players but this is the same roster where i grabbed Jamarr Chase last week (we spoke about it above/last page).
Henry and Saquon were my top 2 picks and it's worked wonders so far. Without byes my lineup right now;

QB Herbert
R1 Saquon
R2 Henry
WR1 Chase
WR2 Mike Williams
TE Mark Andrews
FLX Mostert, Jeff Wilson, CEH whoever has the matchup

so if i do this deal i could move either henry or saquon, start jacobs, and flex CeeDee. this is a half PPR league but you get scrap points for carries to balance is out (like .1)
i don't 'feel' good about moving henry. Jacobs has never been an attractive player to me but i know he blew up the last two games.

I don't think I'd take this trade because I don't feel CeeDee will be in WR1 territory by end of season (I am a Cowboys fan) He has made a lot of mistakes this year, dropped balls and honestly do not think hes a #1 WR IRL or FF.

If Saquan stays healthy you have two 20+ touch RBs, which is rare in today's NFL.

Yeah I've heard a lot of back and forth on CD. "just because he wears 88 doesn't mean he's dez bryant"

I'm not against moving Saquon but I think you could get a better deal than this tbh. Lamb being the weak point. I'd want a better WR in combo with Jacobs.

CMC traded so I just picked up Foreman and Hubbard to go right alongside an ineffective e DJ Moore on my team

I know the offense is horrible but someone on that Panther team is going give me points dammit lol.

Really this is a desperation move because of my RB2 situation. I know CEH is crumbling long term. Right now I have Singletary, Henderson, the two Panther RBs, Herbert, and Gus Edwards on my IR. Add Cook as my RB1 and yes I am actually holding 8 RBs right now…. Only 1 is actually any good haha. Really hoping someone elevates themselves one of these weeks either through injuries or just better play.

We’ll see. Holding both of these Panther RBs means I dropped my kicker and am officially punting this terrible week. I figure it’s worth it cause I was probably losing anyway. Let’s see what the focal point of this Panther offense will be with CMC gone. Will they look for DJ Moore more often or will they just try to give Hubbard or Foreman a lot of touches?

Would McCaffrey for Justin Herbert be a good trade? Other QB on the team is Jalen Hurts

Grabbed both them too hoping one will break out and take the lead with some consistency. I've got Ekeler and K. Herbert in my lineup now but will likely flip a coin and start one of these Carolina RBs over Herbert. I think I have a better shot at points with either one of them. McCaffrey was a big part of the offense so I don't think they can just remove his role, they have to plug these guys into those plays.

Assuming one QB league and you are getting McCaffrey then it sounds like a steal, you'd have to be nuts to turn down.

Fell asleep before the news broke so ended up only getting to grab Chuba in a couple leagues. There's a decent chance he ends up better for fantasy since they should be trailing most of the time and Foreman doesn't seem to catch passes.

Seems like it'd be hard to get a better deal. It's a risky trade for sure though and both Jacobs and Lamb are at their ceilings. Jacobs workload could reduce to where it was at the start of the season and Dak might suck or just spread the ball around more like he usually does.

I put Barkley up on the block in one of my leagues and the best offer I got was Pittman + Dameon Pierce which I declined. It's hard to get someone to give up an RB1 + WR1 for any player unless they're both low end.

LOL. This team is 5-1, so taking a loss with 6 byes (including QB, WR1, and RB1) isn't going to kill me.
Thanks to based Eno, I'm in it, baby. The Stillers D is still on the waiver wire. I can cut J. Cook any time to pick them up if I want to since he's on bye, so I can wait all the way until the Sunday night kickoff to see if it's worth it or not to try to win the week, or just leave the zero for the Eagles and move on to next week.

I agree, CMC was still able to put up points even with this terrible offense because the gameplan centered on him. I can't imagine that changes too much, this team will still be looking to run and throw screens to it's RBs. I do think they'll split Hubbard and Foreman obviously which will cut into any one having high value so I'm not saying either of them will be putting up CMC production, plus neither are anywhere near as good.

But I feel like value has to be there by default no matter how bad the offense is. CMC still put up value. I've got to think if they come with a similar approach these RBs will have value, albeit to a lesser degree being in a timeshare.

I like Hubbard more than Foreman personally. Mainly because Foreman doesn't seem involved in the passing scheme at all. I think Hubbard can be and is a more versatile back. Foreman might be the goal line go to option, problem there being how often will they be near the goal line? Cause the offense is still gonna be bad. CMC also didn't have many TDs and got a lot of his value from the passing game. So I think Hubbard has the edge over Foreman imo

Now if they want to come in and totally shift their approach and start throwing more heavily f*ck I've got DJ Moore sitting around too so I'm all for it. Panthers have to do something though. Someone will get points on this team, I don't care how bad it looks overall. I refuse to believe there will be nothing of value across the board by the end of the year.

Not that I ever wish injury on someone, but SO happy Dobbins is having surgery that will sideline him 4-6 weeks. Completely paving the way for Gus Edwards. This was seriously the break my RB situation needed. May not need to worry about this Panther situation after all.

My guess is Dobbins really will not make it back this year with this happening. Not to be much of a factor anyway

And all the reports are that Edwards looks really good as he's been ramping things back up lately.

Wouldn't be surprised of DJ Moore gets traded at this point. They say they don't want to but there's contenders that could really use him.

ultimately passed on the saquon deal. just fell through.

on Carolina - i actually really prefer d'onta. he's shown flashes over his career. he was solid LY when henry went down on the titans. neither of these dudes will probably pay off. they also have a rookie in the mix that can supposedly catch passes so i'd be a little skeptical on Chuba.

It would be nice if this were true

Unfortunately everything I’ve read points toward Carolina wanting to grab a QB in what is expected to be a strong QB draft next year. They want a WR for that person to throw to, so it doesn’t make as much sense to deal Moore.

Hopefully someone comes in with an offer they can’t refuse though.

I like Foreman best of the Carolina RBs, too, but honestly, I want no part of that backfield either way. They are the worst offense in the league on a team tanking for a franchise QB (and will be constantly chasing points). No thanks to all of them.

Nah.

Being given the start in KC really means nothing to me at this point. It's clear that team is not going to have a heavy ground attack and the trio of CEH, Pacheco and McKinnon I really don't see changing much regardless of Pacheco taking first team reps in practice. He had 2 touches last week and 1 the week before. What's the best case scenario here? Maybe he gets 8 if the first team practice reps mean something.

Definitely playing the other two over him.

Nope. Although I just benched ceh for Claypool. I’m sure this will burn me but I just can’t trust the Kc committee.

Need help on flex, PPR- Brian Robinson, London or Bateman?

I love Robinsons matchup against GB but he has zero career receptions so far and Rivera doesn’t want to commit to any RB.

I already have to start Pitts, starting London too seems like a poor overall strategy.

No clue if Bateman is 100%

Really like what I'm seeing so far even though I benched a lot of this for week 7.

DJ Moore so much more involved in this Panther strategy
Hubbard getting more touches in the backfield
Gus Edwards looking really good for the Ravens

Edwards is still sitting on my IR because I wasn't really sure what to expect for usage and I didn't want to drop anyone to activate him. If he and Moore get it going those are the pieces I need to feel good about my team when it comes to playoff time.

I can't wait to get out from under having to use CEH. That's why I'm really hoping Edwards can be that substitute.

I snagged Drake off waivers and Gus was still available yesterday so got him too. Sucks I didn’t start him but at least I have him now and can drop drake.

Yeah it sucks I didn't start Edwards or DJ Moore tbh. But it's ok. I need them to do this stuff to trust them going forward. My opponent this week is absolutely choking with Brady and Forunette on their team so I might be able to pull a miracle upset even with playing a garbage lineup this week.

Knock on wood lol

Edit:

Alright now I really don't know what to make of the Panthers RB situation. Hubbard was getting most of the touches early and was looking much better but then Foreman broke some long runs late, plus Hubbard then got hurt and didn't return lmao. I know it was probably wishful thinking but I was really hoping I could drop one of them after this week.

LOL. This team is 5-1, so taking a loss with 6 byes (including QB, WR1, and RB1) isn't going to kill me.
LO fukking L

Pray for no FGs tonight.

RIP Breece

Don't think I've ever been this bummed by a fantasy injury before. Was targeting him everywhere.

Also RIP Pitts and London. Trailing the whole game and only 13 pass attempts. Just lol. Have Pitts in one league and London in a few. Had opportunities to sell London but stubbornly held on. At this point it feels worth it to just drop both for high upside handcuffs that hit waivers during bye weeks.

I have London on both my teams and with some byes coming i just can't count on him whatsoever. It's very frustrating. i don't know what ATL is doing with him and Pitts at all. Spent a ton of draft capital on these guys and don't want to even give them opportunities.

Pitts has to be one of the (non injury) busts of the year so far.

I was just saying how he was going to win me the league this year. My team was solid. This one stings. Hopefully Swift comes back soon and Jones can produce. I don't have faith that Gus will do anything with any sort of consistency.

Oh for sure. Najee is a bust because of being a top 15 pick but there's hope he'll turn it around as Pickett improves and the weather get colder. Even Allen Robinson has a bunch of RZ targets at least.

Just really bizarre coaching.

Robinson falls into a category of busts of "mid round picks I was really optimistic would be impact players who actually suck". Darnell Mooney is another, along with London. Najee is a different category of bust as a high round pick who just hasn't produced. Pitts is with him in this class, along with (dare I say it?) Taylor.
