My friend smoked DMT and got permanant tinnitus

srs, it's basically flipped his life upside down. not saying psychs are bad or anything but dont just eat up all the psychonaut babble hippie types like to spout on about them

2 sides to every coin etc, a good trip can be euphoric and enlightening, and one bad trip can spiral you deep into psychosis or something

Glad to hear that it's not bad for you srs. Are there different levels of tinnitus? Like severity levels?

Anyone who has done enough drugs fits into one of two camps.

#1 They acknowledge that they can be a very enlightening experience, but they can also fuk you up permanently with a bad trip.

#2 They deny the above because they've already fried their brain with drugs.

Coming from a person who's used psychedelics, I personally wouldn't use them again at least at high doses, you're taking a massive gamble with your mental health & the risk/reward isn't worth it, a lot of brahs end up becoming complete delusional weirdos alienated from reality

I have a coworker that is huge into psychedelics. He's tried a lot of things drug wise. He's huge into acid and shrooms for easy access. Seriously he's like a pro and trips multiple times a week usually, or at least until he runs out of the good stuff he gets. For like 15 years straight.

He said he would never ever touch DMT. One kid he knew went batchit insane and it took 2 years for him to recover to a slightly normal behavior. He said they woke up the next day after tripping (on acid and this kid + his brother also did DMT) and this kid was still in the corner tripping his balls off and laughing hysterically. Was like an emotional rollercoaster. He said everyone looked at each other like wtf is going on. They had to put him in some sort of behavioral hospital/mental hospital for a while. Was never the same.

I've heard some things like that happen on acid even, but he said there was something dark about DMT.

I know absolutely nothing about it though so I can't speculate, but I also heard also that Joe Rogan has never even tried DMT before which is the most twisted part of it all.

I think most use substances for change from environments they dislike. These do not seem worth the risk, like many said. More like the way lobotomies offer too much downside for the change they facilitate.

DMT is one of the most potent psychedelics in existence, srs.

I dunno what that guy did, but I'll bet you anything he took a heroes dose or took way too much for his first try.

Ayahuasca is also a strong psychedelic and it's highly recommended to have a guide nearby to watch you. If you have any type of negative thought loops that you can't control, you're going to be in for a very bad time.

DMT, LSD, and Shroom trips can take averysinister turn if you aren't in a healthy state of mind before hand.


My SIL's brother took a bunch of shrooms and ended up locking himself in a room because it made him afraid of colors. He stayed in a pitch black room for hours until his trip ended. None of that stuff is to be trifled with, any of them can fuk you up if they're abused.


I will never try Ayahuasca after reading how some of the trips go. I truly believe it can open you up to another plane of existence.

Yea he said both the kid and his brother took the same amount and it wasn't anything worth noting. Something just happened with him whether it be what he saw or chemically a reaction to it. Idk. The other brother said he would never touch it again even if the other brother didn't go nuts. Said he saw some weird and scary chit.

My memory isn't serving me well with exactly how everything went down or how my coworker laid out every psychedelic and what it does/how it works, but yea he talked about them being a sort of "plane" as well. He even said recently that acid gave him his anxiety and panic attacks when he was 16, but he is now healing himself by taking acid haha. Said he understands God now too. A lot of weird chit post trips, but he normalizes quickly.

All I know is I'll never touch anything even if the risk for me is miniscule. It is very intriguing though.

The key is not taking too much Lucy, do your research, have a good mindset, in a good place in life. Once you get that base structure down, it can be the ultimate enlightening experience that I could never explain in words. You can easily get into a dark place and leave so confused about everything, just a flood of information you can't handle. It also builds so many new connections and ideas. Meaning of people and things can create a new definition of the word and then you'll start re-prioritizing your life. Music has never sounded so good etc. I thin it's the ultimate wonder drug that should be studied night and day to find out all the benefits of it.

I don't know if DMT causes tinnitus, but I've read Lucy can, but it could just be exacerbating what you already have, including any heredity insanity. But yeah, DMT is no fukin joke. You're existence is gone in less than 5 sec. I used a light pinch too, way underdosed. If I were to try it again, it'd only would try a light sprinkle because I'm not sure I could go all the way on that one.
