Thinking having a younger woman is the key to happiness will leave a lot of unhappy single men. Remember that women are high in trait neuroticism. A younger woman is higher in this trait than older women. I believe that men and women are designed by God to grow old together. Young women going after older men are looking for something they will not find and will leave him when they are not satisfied.

These marriages involved children too, so not even a family is enough to keep them around. They’ll just find a man already divorced with kids to feel better about their bad behavior.

I’m sure there is data on this phenom, but it’s not been until the last couple generations that it’s become much more common, and it’s not something that the feminist movement would want to be easily found.

You obviously didn't read the timeline I put together very well. Starting young does not mean you're married young. I said you start around 19-20 but aren't actually married until somewhere around 25-27.

Others have already pointed out that a marriage is a bad contract in the first place. Which is all the more reason you need to start young. It's pretty dangerous to marry a girl you don't know well. If you start at 19-20 and don't marry until late 20's you've known this girl for 6 or 7 years before making the decision. There really shouldn't be anything you're missing.

If you decide at 35 to start looking for a wife you're not going to be married at 35. Not unless you want to gamble on someone you don't know very well. Personally I think that's a terrible idea but whatever.
