Chipotle consistency

I swear to god m8s every time I go to chipotle its a different amount of meat, different amount of rice (end of throwing half of it away sometimes), the damn sauces taste different, either not enough cheese or a metric ton of cheese, and somehow they ring it up as a different total everytime.

Also there are different wagies in there working every time I go too which is probably what it is.

I swear if I was still in college I'd order a bowl a day from 5 different locations and weigh them and record the price and do a statistical analysis for a paper on how bad their consistency sucks.

You're doing it wrong.

As you order, open your eyes as wide as possible without blinking and stare down your burrito creator as you request the different items.

If you feel like you didn't receive enough of a particular item just stand there in silence with a crazy look on your face until they shovel some more into your bowl.

Politeness goes a long way.

No need for crazy eyes. Just ask them to add more or less and they will. Even meat, they skimp on the extra of that though. Make your perfect ratio every time

Chipotle is awful.

Brb plain rice, lukewarm tasteless meat, mixed with cold cheese/salsa/corn/whatever...13 dollars.
Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

Not a huge fan any longer( too much during covid) but it depends who is spooning out the meat. The new staff are careful and the older staff don't care.
The safe bet is to pay for double meat and enjoy.

we have a teriyaki place that is killer and open late post workout.
teriyaki beef and chicken white rice and veggies, cant be touched.

I don't get it, the popularity of Chipotle, and I never will. It's basic AF, a small step above Taco Bell. But I also understand what you're saying OP. I've only been a handful of times and the consistency just wasn't there.

Every single time when I tell them what meat I want I say "Lemme get a big scoop of that steak, or chicken etc'' Works like 100% of the time. Also they tend to give more in bowls, so get a bowl and just add a tortilla on the side. They get paranoid as fuk about overfilling the burrito cuz they cant wrap it.

Chipotle is easily the most inconsistent chain I’ve eaten at. There’s one by my old gym that is phenomenal. Everything is fresh, perfectly seasoned and they give you heaping amounts of food on the bowl.

Then there’s one by my job that is disgusting. They serve cold chicken, brown guacamole. I stopped chancing it at new Chipotles. I’ll just pick somewhere else unless I know the quality will be good.
