it's literally the worst part of the job, always procrastinate and do it the day before it's due.

Its pretty ridiculous and pointless. I used to work at this one idiocracy where we had to grade ourselves on a bunch of things 1-5. I would give myself all 5s and then they would say, no you get a 3. They reserved 5s for the people they were grooming to give them raises and bonuses etc.
Everybody always asked why we had to do it if they were just going to change it anyways

Yeah hate it.

Last time just made a bunch of bold statements on the good old EOY template, the day before it was due, but then the boss asked for specific examples / proof, at the actual EOY meeting.

So had to spend a half a day trawling through emails / files, in a grim attempt to justify myself.
