How did we develop the economy of rep points we have today? Did reps really trickle down first from the gods(Mods)? And slowly spread out to what it is today? Ever think about it?

Yes. You would divide your rep power by zero to find out how long it would take.

There is a little known law called the law of compounding zeros. They teach you in school that 0+0=0, but there is a small residual but they fail to teach you that 0+0+0+0 a bunch of times eventually adds up and compounds.
