stop compulsively using technology, srs. that's what's driving the rise in all of these attention disorders in children and adults. i'd venture to guess we could use technology for 1-2 hours per day healthily. after that you will start to have a constant state of anxiety throughout your daily life, as well as a lower attention span unless something is truly interesting to you or allows for the compulsive release of dopamine (like gambling).

That's basically where I'm at brah. Grew up using tech too much now here I am. Can barely complete any task without getting bored and wanting to use my phone or play something on it in the background

espresso+reading something unrelated to anything, ice-cold showers, (and hardcore training sessions when I was younger)

All of those always got me back up and running from the worst states.

Just willpower, my life is always more organized and improved when I'm lifting weights and 24/7 sober

Exercise always gets my mind right, so does eating healthy, drinking lots of water, and getting enough sleep

My most successful points in life were when the pressure to survive was on and it was either push myself or fail

If you don't have any sort of struggle in life then there is not much of a punishment for not having discipline

But if you do have to face struggle in life then it will discipline you and then remind you if you forget

yea it's a brutal reality man. like everything in life, it's worse for some people thatn for others.

you'll have to try and find hobbies that aren't tech related (music, exercise, painting, wood working, etc), get a job that doesn't have you on the computer all day, etc.

your mind will fix itself srs.

when i go on 7 day silent meditation retreats with no tech, by the end i feel like i'm a child again, and that's just 7 days.

there is some forms of technology i've found to not be as bad.

one is watching movies.

look up healthy gamer gg on youtube, he has great advice in this realm.
