I am not a Wayback Machine specialist, but I do know that they use crawlers to take snapshots. Can anyone verify what Gateway is saying is true? If snapshots only started happening on the 28th, does that necessarily mean that is when website is created? I find that a little hard to believe, I know it can be hit or miss with the Wayback Machine. Sometimes a site's snapshots can be very sporadic.

BUT, what is a little strange is that his old blog from 2007 (godisloving.wordpress.com) never had a snapshot taken before October 28th? And had 55 snapshots taken between the 28th and the 29th?

His frenlyfrens blog also had 20 snapshots taken on the 28th-29th before being deleted.


Does anyone know how the Wayback Machine really works and if this Gateway Pundit claim is legit?

Yeah I remember you posted that the other night because I read that Gateway Pundit article. Still not sure about whether the Gateway's claims are true, but finding out the domain was registered on September 8, and the actual blog had posts predating that is really weird.
