10-9 Ortiz. Way more active. Not a surprise to see Loma drop the first.

Yeah not good

Ortiz looking sharp but it’s his first 12 rd fight and Loma is still making calculations. Let’s see whether he can sustain this and stop Loma taking over.

Yea Ortiz looks good but this round Loma caught him good and is slowly going to pick him apart. Ortiz already tiring a bit. Interesting fight though so far.

Ortiz is pretty good. Fast and responding well so far but Loma is a vet. Now that hes getting comfortable and was able to wobble Ortiz I see him winning.

Loma has had success in the 3rd, 4th, 5th. Whether it’s going to translate to him getting the nod on the cards I don’t know. He’s definitely picking it up though. He’s landing some clean shots and he’s putting Ortiz on the backfoot.

This. Not bad for a year off tbh. He's a slow starter and Ortiz has taken more damage although probably up on the cards right now.

Loma will win at this rate unless Ortiz can really keep this up but I doubt it.

Somewhat agree but remember Loma is one of the most accomplished amateur boxers of all time. He hit the professional ranks late so already out of his prime. He’s aged and a little battle worn. But he was once n absolute monster when he entered the matrix. Untouchable.

Unless Loma starts pushing the issue here he'll probably lose on the cards. He's been more effective/efficient but just not enough...

Ortiz is really solid and ate some big shots well.

It could be very close. Round 10 was encouraging from a Loma pov. He needs to take these last two though.

Yea I 10 and 11 were his and I'm guessing he'll take this 12th too. He might take it at the end here but we'll see.

Ok fight. Loma did enough to win IMO. Was dominant in the 2nd half but would be beat Devin Haney?

Yeah I had him winning the last three. I think he edged Ortiz overall out but it was very close at times.

Yea going over it Loma takes this. He turned it at the right time. Ortiz got tired. Good fight though.

Judges definitely sided with Loma there. 7 rounds to 5 sounds about right. I can see how it could be 8-4 as well. 117-111 is ott though..

Yea going through the rounds I had 7-5 tbh. That just might have been me underwhelmed by Loma though.

117-111 was a wtf one though lol.

I think Haney would be too much for Loma. He’s a lot bigger, uses his length, and has a good amount of 12 rd experience. It would be an amazing win for Loma if he could pull it off.
