How can companies bully you by abusing the court system?

For example, I heard about this guy who made up some technology, another bigger company stole it then sued him and since the guy didn't have the money he had to give up.

Why do you need money for this?
Why do you even need a lawyer?

Just show your records to the judge and timestamps just that simple no?

If you have the money to file with the court on every available option that's allowed pertaining to a particular suit, then you can effectively bankrupt the opposing side, even if every request is ultimately denied by the court, just because of the cost associated with filing a response to all of the requests.

Brb submitting a motion right now to have your balls examined.

Why do you need to pay money to file a response?

Because you can't just scribble down some lines on a paper and hand it to the court.

Also, if it's your business that is being sued (its own legal entity), then you are not allowed to represent it yourself, and have to pay an attorney to file anything.
