What features do you look for in a gym?

I am not referring to women in yoga pants, but more like what machines (pin loaded/plate loaded?), amenities, pieces (lifting platforms? Racks?), what do you look for in a gym?

I look to see if they have several flat and incline benches, several squat racks, and several deadlift areas. I don't want to spend hours waiting for those areas to become available.

And I personally like hammer strength machines. They may not be everyone's favorite, but I like them.

I have two gyms myself... the one with the boyos is pretty sparse and a former warehouse.

But if I didn't have that, I would yes.

I have never heard of anyone not liking Hammer Strength. They're well built and durable.

Good to hear because I've always gotten good workouts using them.

Honestly in this order

1. clean
2. wide open spaces
3. orgnized rack of DB (tired of hunting for matches)
4. machines that are maintained, a leg press or hack machine oiled moves easier.
5. fast music(makes you perform better)
6. bright light and clean mirrors to see progress.
7. supps are nice if they order the right ones.
8. most gyms order the same pieces so i work with what is there. i like donkey calf machines and lying t-bar row machines but few have it.
There is an unspoken thing, we are iron brothers and sisters, we are to support each other and...It is our duty to support our brothers and sisters in the iron game!
