I always made sure i picked the antagonist/rival of the main/most overused character in the game. Everyone picked Ryu, i would always pick Ken. Everyone picked Scorpion, i would always pick Sub Zero. Everyone picked Charmander, i would always pick Bulbasaur.

I made it my mission in life to fight against the sheep that thought themselves to be badass and always picked the most famous/popular/strongest characters, i made a point by picking the less used yet still cool rival.

I think i carried that same mentality to my mature years lol.

From MK1: Reptile, just his mystery and green color was enough for me.

MK2: Baraka. If you were 12 when MK2 came out and Baraka wasn't your favorite, you were a ****get. srs.
