A few items:

The kids punched way above his league. He will need to learn to either increase his value or lower his standards. If not, he will be miserable. Many incels believe that they DESERVE a beautiful model, while they barely bathe or groom. They want a tight body woman, while they never worked out once. As is, this kid will always be below average. Not his fault, genetics decide a lot.

Romantic gestures from someone that a girl is not attracted to is creepy, stalkerish, and gross. Is she's attracted, it's cute even if you are slightly awkward.

I started out pretty shy around girls. I was very quiet, but tall and good looking. So initially it was the girls first hitting on me. I never had a problem talking to the girls once they made the effort, but was too shy to make the first move. Early teens I learned to be more outgoing (did speech/debate/acting/sports etc) and it helped me to be more assertive. I learned that no girl was out of my league. Some might not be interested in me that way, but they weren't above me or better than me. Their preferences were just different. That distinction really helped my self confidence in the dating area.

Some guys take a rejection way too personally. It's not really personal with you, it's whatever their preferences are. Obviously there are universal traits that are considered better or worse than others. So just shoot your shot (in a non simping way) and be happy either way.

My guess is probably not. You wouldn't be able to get a boner for this chick, or cum inside her. And there are FAR uglier. So it stands to reason that there are male versions of this; women can't become sexually aroused by them or get orgasms from them.
