There has to be some clause where the other fighter gets more money if they "carry" these Paul fighters to the end, meanwhile the Paul fighters are free to get the KO at anytime.

he stepped on silvias foot just before the knockdown, siliva couldnt move while jake pivoted so silva was out of position. It still counts as a knockdown but it was basically luck. Stepping on lead foots happens a lot with southpaw vs orthodox matchups. Silva wasnt hurt but eveyrone gets to hear from jake how great he was for getting the knocdown.


Also seems like silva stepped off the gas. Round 1 he gave away. Rounds 2-5 or so he outworked paul and had an easy time. He really didnt look tired late either but def stepped off the gas, you be the judge if it was a natural slowing down or if he was told to lay back.

been a boxing fan for 20 years and it has major frustrations. In the last 5-10 years they really went nuts on the matchmaking refusing to match up the best. They rather milk guys into their 30s and maintaining a 0 loss record vs forcing a matchup. They also been overpaying some guys to fight scrubs. Why take a risk losing if you can make the same cash fighting two bums with minimal risk to your career.

Spence-Crawford fight fell through. This is like 5 years in the making. First they told us oh Crawford's promoter wont allow it, then he got a new promoter and the fight still falls through. Its like if the NFL determined the top two teams and after that instead of a superbowl they just played some scrub team and never each other and argued over who is the best and blame the other for the superbowl never happening.
