Was this PURPOSELY orchestrated in some attempt to further widen the divide between everyone? I don’t think so. Is someone capitalizing on this opportunity to cause further divide between us? Absolutely.

Release all the footage so we can get the complete story and stop fighting each other. If you don’t release the footage, you either want us fighting, or you have something to hide.

Where does this repeated narrative that Paul walked back to DePape after the cops got there come from? Srs. The last thing I read was that the intruder was grabbing Pelosi's arm as he opened they door with the other, they were within a foot or two of each other the entire time in the foyer, within swinging distance to get hit.

It's sounds like the encounter never got heated until the very end, the guy was there for Nancy not Paul. In that context it makes some sense that Paul didn't quite grasp the danger he was in and wasn't as desperate to escape as he should have been in hindsight. Or maybe he'd be dead now if he was, who nose.

Video would be interesting but they don't owe it to us.

How about this, next time there's a police shooting, just take them at their word, and don't request that they release the bodycam footage.....

Really good points. I didn't even think about any of that. Just more red flags in a sea of them.

Maybe in this case San Fran police protocol....when a hostage is faced with imminent danger from a hammer wielding intruder...calls for the hostage to leave the safety of a locked room when on the phone with police and instead go back into the room with the hammer wielding intruder.

I am sure that is it. Or at least that is what the defenders of the "he really was faced with danger from an intruder" theory will say.

I imagine someone has already filed a FOIA request for Pelosi's footage and it will be released sooner or later.

If they release a video, it will be redacted. Its going to end up being a “privacy” and/or “political violence” exception.

It's not just bodycam footage, they're refusing to release the security footage as well.
