This topic be a whole other thread. Nature vs nurture. For instance, autism often develops through nature somehow. OTOH, nurture can develop autistic like behavior. Nurture is socially developed, the other seems to develop in other ways.

The results of social media, the nanny state, and the “overbearing mother” everywhere affect have contributed to anti social personality traits. It’s the weakening of character. This is why early Americans were tough as hell. Even the weaklings in society could muster courage in many cases. Look at the communist and socialist countries and how easily they comply, how afraid of disease they are, and how quickly they cave to adversary. Another note is that before 2012, there were almost no cases of females transitioning. It was all men, and the men were far fewer, and they decided to do it as older males, NOT younger. Trans is a glitch in character development. The propaganda is most effective on children during puberty because they are still developing their character and all of the uncertainty.

A study was redacted and corrected; Sociopaths tend to be more liberal. The “uncorrected” version of the study was shared a bunch of times, spreading it everywhere among bloggers. Now that the study was corrected, now a peep from the leftist MSM.

https://nypost.com/2016/06/09/scienc...chotic-traits/

This is no surprise. The whole point of liberalism is to impose and coerce others to their will. To use the power of the government and fascism to force others to agree with them.

1. Social media is largely run by leftist activists and are being influenced/moderated by the federal government. The FBI/DHS paid lots of money and used its influence to spread leftist propaganda and censor conservatives on social media sites. Do you understand the implications of that? We have men dressed in women’s clothing running/moderating our health system and running the country. The economy is tanking…We have them pushing transgender surgeries of prepubescent children, and this many people are ok with it???

Here is the deal; The far left creates a far right. Political freedom keeps these groups content and generally no real problem. For example, the government tried to hit the Amish with heavy federal taxes because some people believed that the Amish should pay. The feds attempted to go out and deal with them, but the Amish told them to pound sand. They weren’t paying the federal government chit. The fed backed down. That is an example of the far right.

Big, coercive, and overreaching government makes people pissy. The definition of political freedom is to be free from coercion by your fellow man. When that political freedom is violated so much, the “far right” will begin to fight back.

Lastly, social media is largely filled with leftist AI bots. They want to make the right feel small and weak. They want to mentally break them.

They see constructive criticism and truth as weapons being used against them, instead of self reflecting and being logical.

Sociopaths do not do as well with adversity.

Psychopaths are different. This is what I would consider to be the “other side” of the cliff. The other side gets into the area of psychopath, who still trolls, but has less of an issue with acceptance. Psychopaths do not need to feel accepted and wanted. They don’t need gratification from others like sociopaths. These are the individuals who are more likely to be in the prison system. Sociopaths, on the other hand, use more manipulation, gossip, reputation, destruction, to make themselves feel and look better.
As I understand it lower intelligence with either type correlates with crime/prison. Not because the smart ones are "nice", just that they are better at assessing risk/benefit and at not getting caught.

psychopath: brain wiring, colder because they don't feel the same emotions or maybe don't feel them as strongly in reaction to events as other people, self-serving and prioritize loyalty, may or may not be cruel

sociopath: may be some inherited factor but considered a personality disorder, meaning something that was shaped by environment, have a lot in common with narcissists and can be both NPD/APD

No, not really. If anything there are -paths and narcs who claim to be autistic as a sort of camouflage or deflection of fault/criticism.

Can an autist also be a -path?

https://qr.ae/pvBUW5

But sometimes an autist will be misdiagnosed as having some sort of personality disorder, partly because the original dx was based on a relatively small number of autists who were mostly male and often had other disabilities.

I've even happened on to an interesting post on Quora hypothesizing that autists are the natural antidote to -paths. I thought I had it bookmarked, but it didn't turn up just now.

1. Activists ,that want profit at all costs and advertising revenue more than any "agenda"
The censoring i disagree with unless it was dangerous and would create chaos and violence.
yes i UNDERSTAND THE POLITICAL IMPLICATIONS OF THAT.
PUSHING surgeries is a reach by you, the patient would need to request/want it.

2. The professor said at most **8% of far right or far left stir up chit online**, so unless that is you, we shut it down completely.
The extremes are ruining it for the 84% in the middle that disagree with both extremes.

3. So after watching the 13 min clip on Social media and it's negative influence , all that you see hear and reply with is:
evil gubment, and the sex ewwey topic, Amish( evil gubment), evil gubmint, break the right evil gubment.

interesting analysis

I read the article and was discussing it. They made a lot of talking points, but never dove in to root causes or context. For instance, FB removed 240m political posts. Why? How did they decide which ones to remove? Was it really because they were trying to decrease political division? Or was this evil at play? Evil is deception in an effort to exploit someone or event. That would have been substance and real context

Assuming you’re an adult with actual responsibilities, trolling means using limited and valuable free time to go out of your way trying to elicit negative emotions from strangers online. Do you think any well-adjusted, mentally sound adult is going to sit there and waste their time doing that?

Obviously it’s different if you’re some punk kid.
