It all depends what the printer does. Right now, prices would have to go down about 40% to be reach the same monthly payment as 2021. If interest rates stay at 7 to 8% for a couple years, house prices will reach that new equilibrium. If interest rates go down, houses will reprice higher.

It all comes down to the Fed. Everything comes down to the Fed.

Every smart investor diversifies and would only have a small percentage like 5-10% in crypto. You can only get away with putting all your investment money into crypto if you're young and single and trying to make it big while accepting the risk.

****ing this, man. Especially after those 2 coins or whatever crashed a couple months ago and people on reddit were talking about how they lost everything and were in the process of planning their own deaths. It's amazing people still refuse to diversify. I figured Brady would be MUCH smarter than that. If they lost 72% of their net worth at $600M, that's still $168M that they have between them. They'll still never want for anything, especially since they'll just make all that money back.

Brady and his wife probably had dreams of becoming billionaires if they really did gamble that much of their net worth. Looks like greed brings down yet another one lol

Doesn't make sense. Smart investors who are quite heavily into crypto still diversify within and go high percentages into BTC and ETH and lower percentages in alt coins. Sure those two are down big as well but there's a realistic chance that within 5 years they'll break new all time highs and you won't be losing all your money.

Putting that much into one altcoin in pure insanity unless you're gambling your 10k net worth hoping to become a millionaire or something.

No surprise a pro athlete and supermodel aren't smart investors. They probably thought or maybe were given false info and thought they had some inside scoop on something and got power hungry thinking they could multiply their entire net worth in a short period of time.

Yeah it's definitely believable. We've seen celebrities go broke often. If I got 500 million tomorrow I'd just put half of it into real estate and have somebody else manage it for me. You could put big portions of the rest into stuff like gold and stocks and make play around a bit with a few mil in crypto.

The Fed stuffed the market like a fukking foie gras duck.

Now the Fed is pulling money out of the market and increasing the value of bonds drastically. Of course the dumbest investment in history will be the first asset to get puked up. But there is plenty of excess in every risk asset, created by $8T of money printing. Stocks are still overvalued by about 20% even today, houses are overvalued by about 40% given mortgage rates.... either the Fed pivots or the prices of both go down.

As always, if your investment thesis for anything doesn't start with "the Fed...", that thesis is wrong.

No idea if this is true or not and no real desire to spend the time to find out but the greed of some (already stupidly rich) people blows my mind.

Reminds me of how Curt Schilling blew like 90 million dollars trying to develop an online game like World of Warcraft or something even though he knew absolutely nothing about video game development. He just heard they make a shhit ton of money and he wanted to be "Bill Gates rich". The funniest thing I heard was that he was surprised when his workers wanted weekends off. Apparently he was unaware this was the norm since as a pro athlete he regularly had to play on weekends.

Do you really believe some tabloid would know how much money certain celebrities plan to lose over this?
