I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone claim to be successful on the misc

In financial terms most I’ve seen is people in the low-seven figures income

Flex is lifting a lot at his age (or for any age really) so I count that as successful but he routinely posts video evidence

Ditto Kaz, flexibility is a great thing to have as you get older

Those are about the only two people I know on here that I’d rate as “successful”

Not successful
Working as a waiter/bartender
Making a lot more money than I ever did as a teacher
Still easy work but have to work a lot harder
Happier than I ever was teaching though
And on the side I’m pursuing my dreams in creative work, art and writing

I turned my last $20k into a business that generates ~$40k/month after tax. Before that, I was off and on homeless living in my car.

Idc what other people think, I see myself as successful. (with money/business anyway)

Also, I guarantee I have the most cash on hand on the misc. Not talking about imaginary numbers.

I genuinely believe the misc braggarts are legitimately successful people IRL.

Nothing wrong with posting about it every so often like that induced_drag guy (he's cool), but there are repeat offenders who are a little "excessive" about it and that's pretty cringe.

Even if they aren't insecure it comes off as validation seeking feminine behavior.

do you think we really want validation from miscers though or are just narcissistic in our misc personas?

Tbh, I don't feel like you're included in that category of "braggarts".

You're probably right that they're just more brazen about it because it's linked to their internet/misc persona.

I guess that can be said for most of us.

if misc met up with the loudest personalities on here I would wager it would be awkward and silent AF

ive done 1-2 people meetups like you and houston miscer before and it was great but i bet a group it would be totally opposite of what is on here

Was supposed to meet up with _sword but he asked me when I was in prep and not hanging out with anyone and not doing anything fun, one day soon, maybe he can convert me to becoming a hebrew brethren

The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

Neg away big boy

Maybe after you’ve had a cry you can post up an example of anyone claiming to be successful on the misc

(Flex, induced drag and kaz don’t count since they’ve posted credible evidence of anything they’ve claimed)
