Sent: Dak Prescott, David Montgomery, Courtland Sutton
Received: Lamar Jackson, Robert Woods
.5 PPR, .2 points per carry
My team before trade:
QB: Dak Prescott
RB: Joe Mixon
RB: Kenneth Walker III
RB/WR: Dameon Pierce
WR: Justin Jefferson
WR: Mike Evans
TE: Tyler Higbee
D/ST: Titans this week, been streaming
K:Justin Tucker
Bench:
David Montgomery
James Robinson
Melvin Gordon
Khalil Herbert
Alexander Mattison
Courtland Sutton
He needed WR/RB help - Monty and Sutton aren't starters for me and I upgrade from Dak to Lamar Jackson at QB.
With Mixon and Jackson on BYE this week plan is to start K. Herbert and pick up Trevor Lawrence I think.
Will probably just drops Woods for Palmer/Claypool/Hardman. Who would you pick up tonstash in my empty spot, Elijah Mitchell or Kyren Williams?
Thoughts?

I'd pick up Kyren Williams over Elijah Mitchell. Just a hunch but CMC just seems to have it together this year.
At least with Kyren they seem to want him to be the guy. Likely doesn't fully get there this year but maybe he bursts onto the scene and he does. I'd rather roll with that personally.

All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Anyone think the Bills might try to use Allen less in the run game to keep him from getting hit more often the rest of the year? Maybe I'm reaching, but hoping this might work out in Singletary's favor moving forward.
Honestly if I was a Bills fan I'd want to minimize the shots he takes as much as possible now. Even if he comes out as playable and relatively healthy, that risk is now there at least for the rest of this season.

Thanks for the input guys, haven't pulled the trigger on that Tua for Godwin as of yet. Entertaining other trades..
Someone that's taking up space is Kyle Pitts. Dude has done nothing this whole season, idk if I should just drop him already

Almost zero chance I make the playoffs unless I win out and some help. 4-6 currently
Have the most bi-polar team possible this year. One week I'll score 150-180pts, next week I won't break 90. No inbetweens. Major draft regrets all over the place.
WR Corps - Godwin, Allen Robinson, Sutton...... Really thought AR and Sutton were going to thrive with new QBS, just LOL. Also have Drake London who was a bust. Picked up Pickens hoping he continues to grow.
RB crew was ok, CMC, A. Jones and Piece. Can't complain here. I drafted Ken Walker, but had to drop early on. Major regret there.
Only bright spot is having Hurts as my QB.

This is the last week for trades in my friends league (1/2 PPR). I have Hurts and Fields. Trying to move one (probably Fields), need help at either RB or WR. Currently in second at 7-3, but that's really lucky, and I currently have Fields sitting on my bench winning the bench matchups every week, which is doing me no good. I really need to cash in on this move to have a contender. Wut do?
I proposed Fields and Sanders for Etienne and Waddle this morning. Guy is 5-5 in the thick of the playoff chase and has Tua, Waddle, & Etienne on bye, and will be presumably missing Juju this week, and can't really afford to just punt a week (at 7-3, I'll sacrifice a week to fortify both positions...). Considering offering Fields for Chubb straight up. Guy has Lamar, though, so may not be looking for a QB upgrade (although Fields has doubled Lamar's scoring recently...), but has Taylor, Patterson, and Foreman/Chuba, so he can afford to trade a back if he does consider it a QB upgrade. Other ideas?

I tried to pick up Fields and lost him on the waiver wire the week he was grabbed. I was also planning to use him and trade Hurts lol.
I still might trade Hurts. Planning to grab Watson this week and I have no problem risking it with him as my QB in the playoffs. I'd really like an RB and Hurts is my only option in getting something good back. Thinking about trading Hurts either straight up for Chubb or trying to pair Hurts with Foreman and go after Ekeler. I'll probably try the Ekeler offer first but I see it being shot down. The guy who has Chubb and Ekeler has Carr and Wilson as his only QB options.
I'm 8-2 and in good shape to secure a bye in the playoffs. Have a 2 game lead in my division right now and the teams chasing me are likely both going to drop two more games themselves based on their schedules. My team is also a lucky 8-2 to some extent. It's probably the 4th or 5th best team in the league based on roster, but I'm in the weaker division for sure paired with some timely wins.
Securing a first round bye will go a long way for me. I should win this week and assuming I do it'll basically be a lock.

I've been trying to trade Fields for a couple weeks in 2 different leagues where I have Mahomes and Burrow. Really depends on how your group values QBs but in mine nobody will give more than WR2-tier value for any top 5 QB.
I actually don't mind holding onto him at this point though since at least I won't be facing him in the playoffs. The ideal scenario would be I trade to like a 3-7 or 4-6 team and they miss playoffs.

Jamarr Chase still on crutches. Damn.
my worry is they're trying to get his hip as much rest as physically possible for making a final call on a comeback vs a shutdown. Hard to imagine him going from being on crutches to playing within a month.

No one wants to give up a quality WR or RB for a QB you nabbed off free agency. Doesn't matter how many points Fields is putting up right now. I think there's a part of it that's a mentality thing. This is a QB that went completely undrafted so it feels weird to deal someone you drafted high for him. I doubt you'll ever really get good value for Fields.
That's why I think it's better to keep that value of Fields for yourself and in turn deal your QB with a big name that people will respect and be open to dealing better players back in return. You gotta be willing to take some risk here instead of thinking you can parlay your WW QB add into a significant WR/RB for your lineup.

I did send out a couple offers last week that were shot down. Fields for Chase to a 2-7 team and Fields + Pitts for Andrews to a 3-6 team, both starting QBs like Carr and Mariota.

If anyone wants a lottery ticket stash candidate or a cheap DFS potential smash play, consider Skyy Moore. Juju, MVS, and Hardman are all out this week. The Chiefs WRs are Toney, Justin Watson, and Skyy Moore in a game that could be an old school AFC West shootout where Mahomes could easily have 400 and 3 or 4 TDs. Kelce will get his, of course, but that's still a lot of production to spread around. Toney, of course, is the most likely to have a blow up game, but he's been inconsistent at best in his career, so there is a chance for Watson or Moore to be the one. Watson is a veteran punt gunner who would go straight back to ST when the other guys get healthy regardless. Moore is a 2nd round rookie who is electric with the ball in his hands but who has struggled with, well, rookie mistakes so far, but you'd think the Chiefs would want to see what they got for their draft capital, and this is a good spot for them to find out. Unlike Watson, if Moore has a breakout game, he could play his way into a regular rotation. Just something to consider if you have a free roster spot.

If this ends up winning the league for the other guy because Fields scores 50/gm for the rest of the season, he's my buddy who is the commissioner who is 4-6 so far because of terrible luck, so that's fine with me.
Edit: in my money league, the Fields owner just traded Fields and Pickens for Cooks, Geno, and Gus, which is much worse than what I got.

The reality is Fields could easily turn back into a pumpkin. He's not going to run for 150 yards every game. If it was that easy what has taken this so long from him? No one wants to give top talent back for a guy like Fields. If you really believe Fields is legit you're better off trading your proven QB that people respect and consider a stable asset for something of higher return, then play Fields yourself.
What's worse is you look at Fields playoff schedule, depending on when yours starts he's either going to play the Eagles and Bills in Round 1 and 2, or he'll play the Bills in Round 1 and the Vikings in the championship game. None of those teams will he even have a 100 yard rushing game is my guess, let alone the 150 he's been running lately. Add in he's a terrible passer and he's probably going to be a truly sh*t play for the playoffs.
I think you did well with getting Conner back in return personally.

Conner is likely the best you can get for him though and certainly better than the offers I've gotten. Both leagues I'm trying to trade him are 6pt TD unfortunately so a lot of people are fine with guys like Rodgers and Jimmy G who reliably get 20+ points.

I could be wrong but I'm just saying I really don't trust him at all and I can see why no one would want to trade more than Conner for him. He's not Michael Vick and even Vick didn't consistently run for 150 yards a game. He might do well against Atlanta this week because Atlanta is trash but he'll start to taper off here pretty soon. Still might see him in the 20-25 range before the Eagles game. But I'm gonna go ahead and predict he scores less than 20 points in both the PHI and BUF games. If you're still alive by DET by all means deploy him though.
