Remember when only your weird uncle talked politics?

The uncle still single in his 50s with a comb over ranting about Clinton at thanksgiving. Those were the days.

Now everyone has a take or something to say about politics. Even though most have nothing of value, they just repeat a sound bite to get nods of approval from their peers.

No, not really. It was pretty normal for all the men in my family and a few of the women from time to time.

What was super different is that people could disagree about a party, a politician, or a specific law or policy, without declaring that the other person was bad, stupid, and/or just generally unfit to associate with.

It would get loud now and then, but I don't remember it getting mean.

I don't remember anyone talking about politics until recently. People didn't even mention to others who they voted for. They just voted and that was it.

because back then you had to actively search for weird politics ideas, now CNN spoon feeds the dummies exactly what they are supposed to think and say.

allowing propaganda in media caused all this, now we have a bunch of morons who think they need to have opinions on everything thats completely out of their control.

I preferred not thinking about politics at all, and I did not until the left decided they needed to corrupt everyones minds and thoughts with the politics we have today, so im not political, im anti political as a reaction because sane people have to stand against this bullchit because its gone way past dangerous if you are into functioning society and economy.
