Blockfi exploring bankruptcy filing now

Only a matter of time until this hits coinbase.

Boyos now is the time to take all money and coins off ALL exchanges.

Last chance before it gets bad.

October was scam month, November is the CEX killer month , can’t wait for all these crooks and scammers to exit so that we can be left with crooks and scammers who are better at their jobs.

The bigger exchanges (Binance, Coinbase, etc) won't be going anywhere because of financials, but the US-based ones will eventually get slapped by the SEC/US Gov. Bank on it.

Binance and Coinbase will be the only two exchanges left standing.

If there is a moderate crypto bank run on coinbase, they will halt withdrawals. This will cause even more panic as everyone scrambles to get coins out of the system.

Buy now and get your coins off the exchange as soon as possible. IMO this is the modern equivalent of the gold confiscation of the 30s, inbred elites don't want the common man to own any crypto. This is all planned...

nope. Not your keys, not your tokens.

If you don't have it on cold storage, it's not yours

Get a ****** or ledger ASAP, at the very least.

Good move.

People shy away from wallets because they don't want to be responsible for their own money or are unable to understand how they work but it's the only way to truly own your tokens. Just wait until banks start freezing funds or having capital restrictions. It's the same concept as what happened in crypto - exchanges were staking or lending out people's tokens so when people wanted to withdraw, they couldn't support it. Same with banks. Less than 30% of money is actual paper. If more than 30% of people want to withdraw, banks will be faced with the same scenario.

Just make sure you write down your phrases on paper and never store them digitally or share them.

Keep in mind FTX was backed by SoftBank (aka unlimited amounts of money)

I really don't want to sell my chitcoins (only hold BTC and ETH atm anyways) but FTX going down is a very bad sign for everybody

This. Exchanges, just like they do with online stock platforms, sell the same coin/token/stock to many people. Unless you have an on-chain transaction with your coins in a separate wallet, they can yeet your account whenever they want.

I might suggest you don't need to buy a ******/Ledger. You can use an old phone, factory reset it, put a fresh-new login for it and use Exodus.

FTX popped up during the crypto boom (first red flag), not based in the US (second), and attracted way too much attention way too fast (third).

Sounded like a scam, looked like a scam, went down like a scam. I'm good.

Same about holding. I'm holding 4.5 ETH, and I'm now putting in a few hundred dollars a month into Bitcoin.

Owning tokens in a cold wallet might not help much if said tokens plummet in value, are delisted, or just still can't be exchanged for fiat $$$ down the road

This ain't quite like stacking cash in your mattress
