Rate dinner/10

I had my usual Wed night company over for dinner. Tonight was a slow cooker creamy chicken with an Italian dressing season mix. I made angel hair pasta and biscuits for chicken to be served over either...your choice. Dessert was strawberry cheesecake.

Happy Wednesday!

3.5 lbs chicken breast (you can serve whole but I cut it up to make it easier)
2.5 cups chicken broth
2 cans cream of chicken soup
8 oz packaged softened cream cheese
4 tablespoons butter or margarine
1.4 oz package of Italian dressing season mix (might be good with a ranch dressing mix as well if you don't like Italian)
garlic powder
pepper

Put the above in crockpot and cook 3 hrs on high and last 2 hrs on low.

Serve over pasta, rice, mashed potatoes or biscuits.

No it was really good. Perfect comfort meal on a cold day and the house smells so good when slow cooking.

Interesting @Kimm. Would have never thought of the italian seasoning..... Also adding the cream cheese. Hmmm, that must really add a nice texture to the sauce!

Thanks for the idea!!!!!

For the pic I probably wouldn't give a very high rating, but for the description of the actual dinner itself I'd go 9/10.

That looks really tasty - but why not toss the noodles in the sauce, like mac and cheese etc?

Nice cheesecake too

Nice cheesecake too
I feel it dries out too fast when you do that. I made pasta and biscuits so they could choose what they wanted to serve it over. I kept the chicken dish in the crockpot so they could serve themselves.

Looks good. Reminds me of carbonara I should make again. Or maybe an alfredo, lol... The pic makes it look like regular spaghetti instead of angel hair tho lol. I'd give 7/10 cuz sloppy-looking food can definitely still be goodI make it all the time
