I went to a math academy high school. When we all started as freshmen at 14, there were a couple girls and a couple normal guys there who just happened to be good at STEM.

By junior year, puberty had kind of picked the winners and the losers, and anyone with a social life had left the program and transferred to normie high school. The tall, thin blonde girl got out of there, went to a private university, and majored in exercise science. The square jawed Chad who the female teacher got nervous around went to a party college and studied finance before running through sloots (if his FB is any indication). There was about 20 dudes left, 0 girls, and at least half the dudes were ****** From the guys I've kept up with, probably half of us are still virgins in our late 20s.

Here's the thing about STEM, is it's actually not that fukking complex. Just walking down the street, I would guess that a quarter to a third of the people you see have enough raw intelligence to be engineerbrahs. It doesn't take a genius to solve an integral or write a for-loop in Python. What it does take is a lot of time and effort to practice those skills. STEM is a grind more than anything.

People who have fun chit to do with their time don't replace it with calculus homework. Beta males choose to because they a lower marginal utility of that time, if you will. This is also why STEM is an excellent 3rd world ****** pursuit.
