Lol if you’re not drinking and playing games in your 40’s

Playing some GOW, drinking some beer and eating some pastelitos.

Keep grinding, you’ll get there.
I probably banged your mom.

Eat the whole animal like a real man.

In my late 40s, I played the first GOW, drinking sake and eating dried squids.

Does that count?

*BTW, it's not Gordon,

a real dried-squid.

Why you tryna focus on being manly in your 50s grandpa? You will barely be able to walk in 10 years, heheh.

meh,

even when I have time to "game" and its a game im interested in, I just lose interest after about 30 minutes or so. I just feel like i'm wasting my time which makes me not enjoy it and he game feels like a chore (because I feel obligated to beat the game since I spent money on it, lol)

This kinda applies to movies as well. I can't just "sit" and watch a movie I have to be up and actively doing something off to the side.

I'd attribute it to some form of latent ADD, but I wasn't like this as a kid. I use to be able to sit and game and watch movies for hours.

You can get drunk and play video games in your 40s with kids lol.

Hell my brother does it with his kid all the time lol.

My wife got me a switch last year as a surprise gift. I hadn't played nintendo extensively since the n64 in the 90s. Played a bit of gamecube and a tiny bit of wii but migrated to the playstation as a teen. It's been so much fun, honestly. I was a bit skeptical but the games exceeded my expectations. Breath of the Wild was a fantastic game. I'm also now wrapping up Kirby and the forgotten land. The last Kirby game I ran through was crystal shards on n64.

I'm able to find the time to play maybe 1 hour in the evening. That's the best I can do but it's been such a nice way to finish off the day. These games are really soothing, quaint, and nostalgic. Had a beer last night while playing actually.

Repped, OP

Too much of a good thing. It's all about setting appropriate boundaries and limits.
