Multiple people were shot and killed inside a Walmart in Chesapeake, Va., on Tuesday night, the authorities said, the second high-profile mass shooting in the country in three days.

The shooter, whose name the authorities did not release, was found dead at the store, Leo Kosinski, a spokesman with the Chesapeake Police Department, said in a brief news conference.

Mr. Kosinski did not say exactly how many people had been fatally shot, but he said he believed it was “less than 10.”

The Police Department responded to a report of a shooting inside the Walmart at about 10 p.m., Mr. Kosinski said.

He added that when officers entered the store, they found “multiple fatalities and multiple injured” individuals.

Mr. Kosinski said investigators did not know if the shooter was an employee or whether he had died by suicide. He added that he did not believe any shots had been fired by police officers.

This dude right here no emotion at all even almost happy and saying this aint nothing to me, as the women are crying after their friend and employee were killed, they said the guy who did it was named Andre so im guessing he is black, and he blew his brains out after killing the girl

This is the mass shooter Andre he might have been an Incel, he blasted one of the girls probably got rejected or they ridiculed him or something thats the only thing I can think of.

If he was fruity maybe he did this in retaliation to the gay night club shooter? Im still thinking this guy was an incel rejected by one of the females and probably they made fun of him, someone who worked there said he was an odd guy but non threatening.
