wtf @ mainstream music

Heard a radio station that plays the top chart music at a relatives (they love it) and it's insane how chit so much of it is. And these are the highest ranked songs in the Country right now.

Taylor Swift, Post Malones, Harry Styles, Doja, Nicki Minaj.. I don't see how what they put out is the apex of modern music in US. I feel more detached from the average person everyday.

well commercial music is made for general listeners who want a catchy hook and good beat. sing a long lyrics.

maybe stop listening to music made for teenagers and family friendly? LMAO

lots of good music in the independent scene. in all genres.

I'm over here listening to EDM and old Lil wayne tracks from like 2008 lol. mainstream radio suck giant dink.

I miss the days of Winamp player where they would have a plugin that let you listen to radio stations from all around the United States. You could find some really good stations that played music that wasn't top 100. That was the last I remembered of good radio.
