Back to pre 2005 when the car scene was strong/flashy, explosions, hot women etc.
I edited the audio in maybe 2013/2014, sounds more epic. Man, what happened. A time when car enthusiasts would pop their hood to show off their engine, heck, even pop their trunk for the neon 10 billion watt sound systems with bikini models leaning all over the bonet. Revving their fart can exhausts with like 200hp.
https://fb.watch/h2ewreLHtT/
So epic. Now it's all about some pusstarded A-B eco friendly piece of ****. Fat ass lazy ****s, get back to the old era car scene. Heck, even F1 fizzled out after the 90s, stretching the limits with v10/v12 engines. Hearing the engine scream with the most talented racers, Aryton Senna changed the sport forever, good and bad since regulations slowly came in after his death. Lol, retards now with the bullcrap safety features hahaha, sports are so wimpy now.
EDIT: That era was beyond insane. Even in our area our friends had insane cars. E.g, our family car was an impreza and our friends who we went to a monster truck show was in a kitted out supra (again, family car) (definitely the father's influence haha)
I'll try to find pictures on this old hard drive here. Pictures of our impreza, the car that dropped us to school/took us to the carnival/friends houses etc. Imagine how insane that was.
EDIT 2:
This was my parents impreza in 2005/2006, so epic to roll up to school in that.

These were my neighbours cars, (the supra I mentioned earlier in which we travelled with basically everywhere, got kitted out to death in around 2007) Plus a rx7, wonder what happened to that guy.

Every kid had tribal tattoo shirts/frosted tips spiked hair and all the adults were just 2000s cultured I guess. Typical family culdesacs were far different back then haha.

I would never go to a car show in this camp retarded era. Just a bunch of tubby awkward guys claiming their cars are more fuel efficient with their stale truck/garbage plastic safety car.
I used to go to all the car shows when I was younger. It was unreal.

Individualism and uniqueness is being squashed for conformity and beige.
This is why I don't like electric cars or modern architecture. I can appreciate the engineering of electric cars and the torque they produce but it will be at the cost of Chicano low riders, hot rods, jap imports etc..
Having kill switches in electric vehicles also doesn't sit comfortably with me

2014 was legit the last year i met anyone that talked about their cars. Everyone had a system or they souped them up and we'd race them around all day and blare music
Idk what happened to that culture. It was even crazier in the 2000's. But point is we'd always be outside doing stuff not just inside looking at screens lol

I agree, car technology has improved a ton, but the direction they've taken with it is absolutely pathetic. It has taken the spice out of it for car enthusiasts. What is car talk between us? "Yeah, it is yellow and is eco friendly". Come on. E.g, instead of cutting the v10/v12 engines in F1, they could've just used the technologically superior downforce engineering that today offers. But no, they made the cars worse and worse over the years to the point where the driver isn't even a big deal since the car is doing all the work. Killed the sport. Lol, electronic pit stops. Pathetic.
Yeah, I don't understand how you can revive these electric cars in like 80 years of being in a garage. Cars from the 1920s are still functional because of how they're built with that structural integrity, now they're just iphones with wheels.

It was a dumb little picture. What the heck? We still have the manual from my Mums 2002 Peugeot 307, it basically tells you how to build your car from the ground up lol. Slowly I'm noticing small things like this which suggests that people are much dumber than before. I don't find it funny at all, people might find it funny but it's disappointing.
Exactly, guys back then could do anything and look cool. Guys doing anything now is a joke. Look at a YouTube video of a guy fixing a computer, explaining something or whatever. It just looks camp/poofy as ****.
Yeah, for some reason they're promoting this indoor lifestyle. I could've sworn that before people would encourage you to be outdoors and that "your screens will be there when you get back". Anyone on a screen for longer than 2 hours a day was considered a no life weirdo in 2010. Now 14+ hours is just a normal career?

Had a foxbody Mustang. H/C/I, longtubes through an H pipe, flows, Bcam, no cats.... hnnnnnnggggg son. Sounded good at idle, sounded even better when you opened it up. Back then you couldn't buy fast, you had to build it. What's more is not everyone could make it drive fast even if they had the power. Now any goober can leave his office in a Tesla and just mash the pedal and launch.

My first new car was a 2003 Celica GTS. Installed a huge custom stereo system. Absolutely loved that car, and the club scene was still totally legit and cool with normal brahs.
Next car was a 2005 S2000. The S2k club was incredible when they were still out of reach for stupid kids. We had 200+ car meets/drives with basically zero incidents because people were normal.
I think the whole import scene pretty much died. I blame social media. People are way more concerned with flexing on IG than they are actually driving the car. Plus, every stupid thing someone does immediately goes viral.

I heard SWAT came to a bunch of people's houses. Even disrespected their whole families.
Srs though, thats what everyone was into in the early 2000s. Sound systems, modded cars, and drag racing. It got expensive though. I used to have a turboed integra, eclipse spyder turbo, and an M3. But now you can just buy a regular domestic POS with a supercar engine stock. Plus these Zoomers aint about that life anyway.

I know this big fat fuukk with a giant F1-50 he got a few years ago. It has a V-6 in it and weights maybe 1k pounds more than a sedan.
Sometimes I feel like asking him "why" when he couldn't beat a Ford Taurus in a race with that thing.

So many nice cars and people were more fun.
I had a swapped civic at the time (bought my engine from some dude who ran a chop shop) and was so paranoid of getting pulled over at the street races or on the street and asked to pop my hood. Sold that car to a friend of a friend and bought a GSR, so I didn’t need to sweat that part anyways..
Just a lot of unreal car chit going on around that time, it was awesome!

Those 2003 girls look amazing. Back when women cared about their image and were actually ditzy/girly and high energy. In their early 20s then and now mid 40s, wow. Much better than today's weird garbage. The 90s-2007 hot women must be laughing at how they pulled it all off 100x better than today's low effort copy and paste low energy clowns.

look at most car reviews nowadays, they spend most of the time talking about infotainment screen and heated seats.
they dont even talk about engines anymore

I guess it all depends where you live. This was our local car show a few weekends ago. There were five Paganis there, a Rimac Nevera, probably five or so Bugattis, McLaren P1, F40, and TONS of custom cars/one off builds, plus the typical flood of Lambos/Ferraris/McLarens in every color and spec.
