Anyone else get sick when they eat fast food nowadays?

We mostly eat at home now but most times when i eat fast food nowadays i get sick. Stuff tastes weird sometimes too like it's made with chitty ingredients or it's just old and stale.

Same, especially the bigger chains. I am fine at In n Out and other “better” fast food places, but McDs and Jack and the Box etc makes me feel like I ate a greasebomb, and taco bell just fights its way to get out asap

Stop eating that crap dude

Although tbh the fast food experience has drastically gone up where I live. I'm in a conservative area

When I lived in a liberal area, the fast food experience on average was garbage srs

Not even making this up

Maybe it's getting older or the ingredients are getting worse. My wife cooks a lot, I eat 85% of my meals at home with the exceptions being an occasional decent lunch at a place like mediterranean or BBQ and taking my wife out for dinner. Few times I eat at a McDonalds or Wendys I haven't felt too good afterwards.

Preservatives up the wazoo in especially fast food ingredients, and stuff like glyphosate isn't just in the bread. It's in the meat too. It all adds up. And it's all homogenized not only to prevent spoil, but for consistency (= relatively bland).

Can't relate. But fast food is kind of rare and I stick to a limited rotation.

- burger from In-N-Out or Whataburger

- nuggets or a sandwich from Chick-Fil-A

- crispy beef taco or sometimes a chicken fajita or tostada from Rosa's or Taco Casa

- sub from Jersey Mike's

I haven't even attempted to eat Taco Bell in at least 5 years. The last time I gave it a shot due to lack of other options I just couldn't do it and most went in the trash.

I only eat it when I'm drunk so it's hard to tell if it's that or the alcohol making me feel like chit.

Most of it doesn’t even seem to taste good anymore. When I was young KFC tasted fuking amazing. Now it just tastes like grease and hydrogenated oil

Who is we? And seriously, you look sickly in your AVI.

I've been trying to keep to the habit of eating at home and healthier in all honesty and I'll have fast food for a treat once in a blue moon... either a burger from in n out or a mom and pop pizza place nearby

Yep the chicken and burger places taste like old grease and taco bell and pizza places just taste like some old stale chit that was reheated or something.

Fast food has always been like this for me. I'd rather eat clean and poop easy than eat fast food and be on the toilet trying to chit out something that doesn't want to exit my body. I'll make exception for fries. Love fries.

You need more fiber.

i eat a lot of food that isnt in any diet but fast food is not one of them. Its both **** quality and **** for you and overpriced, seems like a lose lose lose, would rather just eat some cookies or bacon pasta if I am going to cheat on my diet.

The best era for fast food was the the 90's.

I remember Roy Rogers being delicious, and McDonalds as well.

Now fast food places dont care anymore. Especially, now with inflation you have teenagers working most of these players, and some of them are high as fuk, so imagine some zoomer high trying to prepare your burger then spills lettuce on the ground then just picks it up.

Couple months ago I went to Wendy's and the cashier at the drive thru could barely speak he was so high LOL.

Sometimes I feel like Mike Judge was ahead of his time with Beavis and Butthead.

Not sure if fiber has much to do with it. But idk. Eating healthy is easy. Carbs, protein, veggies, fruits. Poop comes out clean and fast. Eat fast food and my stomach is grumbling and I'm on the ****can for half an hour.

I find the uneasy feeling is much more noticeable, or only exists when you eat it every once in a while. Once you consume it regularly you don’t get the bad feels anymore.

Or you just become so used to it that it feels like normal.
