so much of soccer is just kicking the ball into a mass of dudes and "hoping for the best" its hilarious.

yeah theres some incredible skill shown sometimes, but most of the game is just kicking the ball in a gaggle of blokes and hoping for a good bounce.

nhl is great, fluent, entertaining

the rest of the world doesnt play american football because they lack genetics for it.
need to be large, fast, strong, jump high

thats basically the US/Canada, parts of Northern/West Europe, and West Africa.

West Africa is too poor to play football (pads, expensive fields).

Northern Europe is growing in popularity (the NFL games being held there are sold out in seconds). There is talk of the next NFL team being in Germany or Scandavia (srs).

Soccer is very boring and easily the gayest chit in the world. Imagine dedicating 90 minutes of your life to see a draw play out with the last 10 minutes being players faking injuries. It shouldn't even be considered a sport. Gridiron, on the other hand, now that's a real sport.

yeh, the commentary both in the US and UK has been a shambles. they let women get involved in the man's game and they are useless
not sure what you mean by delays...fouls? free kicks? doesn't seem that long...how can you enjoy nfl then?

I simply can't stand how much they bitch and whine. 8 year-olds playing rugby/football/hockey take 10 times bigger hits/pain than those ****gets and are back up instantly to the next play. It's a disgrace tbh.

Also how 7 people run to the ref every fooking time their is something they're unhappy with. Bunch of entitled cucks

Women commentators are the worst. They all have the same strange tone of voice.

Delays as in players on the leading team taking their sweet time to continue play because they want to use up as much time as possible to reduce the chance of losing their lead. I understand the motive but as a viewer it comes off as unsportsmanlike and a waste of time. Mostly because I don't know if there is a set time before it becomes a penalty. I don't think there is, is there? I do know that all the dead time is added on at the end anyways so it looks stupid seeing a goalie hold the ball until it becomes too awkward for him. Btw, awkward is a weird word wtf.

Good point about NFL. It is an accepted strategy in the NFL and there is a visible set time before it becomes a penalty. I don't like the sideview that it is aired. It should be from the offense's perspective and I'm not paying extra for it. I don't watch NFL anymore except highlights now and then.

"brb put arms up in anger" = literal NPC behavior with how often I see it. It probably is even a feature in fifa games.

Football - GOAT sport thats being less GOAT with the amount of defense they are taking away

Soccer - the only reason its popular around the globe is because you don't need money to play, all these poor countries can afford a soccer ball with trash cans for the goal. GOAT endurance though. That amount of movement is truly tiring especially when they get up their in age.

Baseball - MLB reagular season is way too long, shorten it up and allow more teams into the playoffs to offset the amount of games lost. Also bring back the steroids.

Basketball - NBA similar, too long of a season. players taking games off just to rest. I know back in the day they didn't do that, but they do it now.
