BMI is made-up bs that doesn't take into account muscle mass
a 6'4 225 lb jacked male is probably 'overweight' by bmi standards but he could be in better shape than the skinny-fat twink that is 6'4 185 lbs...

Nah I still have abs. I could probably stand to lose a little weight maybe 10-15lbs.

the weight to height ratio is pretty much skin and bones, had a buddy lose 60+ lbs and was weighing around 170 and he was still considered borderline obese LOL I think his weight needed to be like 150 to be in the weight range they see fit

BMI does suck in general but keep in mind, extra weight whether its muscle or fat is still an extra load on the heart and body. but way better to be muscular then fat obviously

That’s light af man. I was 175lbs at almost 6’6” and people thought I was sickly looking.

At that moment I knew what needed doing. Stopped my running regime and ramped up lifting and caloric intake operations.

Sitting around 265lbs today, feels heavy, but I strike fear into the hearts of normal men

Yeah BMI is based on someone that walks a few times a week, maybe plays softball as their strenuous exercise. I'm 29 BMI now and getting back to 26-27 is more my ideal size since I naturally have big legs. Under 25 I'd definitely lose strength.
Yeah Buddyyy! Light weight! Light weight baby!!!!

I think BMI is relevant when measuring health. Unless you're on compounds, it still applies to even bodybuilders. Most people who lift, are fat and think it's muscle, causing them to have high BMIs. It's very rare to find someone that's over their BMI limits, who is both lean and healthy. I'm not talking about outliers with insane genetics or on compounds. Your average natty person, who even lifts weights wouldn't look their best in most cases with a high BMI. (Ded fkn Srs)

That's not accurate at all. For someone at 6'6, a normal weight to not be considered overweight by BMI is 215. (Ded fkn Srs)

5'11" ~175lbs BMI=24.4

I am not a skinny DYEL looking guy. My arms are not fatceps, I carry very little fat in my limbs and it's very separated look for arms and legs. I am not on TRT, tech and not trying to get bigger. I'm lean athletic looking and like it that way.

In response to "I need to lose some fat" I often have people look at me and say "You? What for?" And I have to restrain myself from something like "I onlylookfit to you because you're so used to looking at so many fat fracks these days."

I restrain myself because, often, the individual to whom I'd respond is a fat frack and I don't feel the need to unnecessarily give offense.

Obviously the bmi calculator bases it's numbers on non-lifters.

Correct

99.5% of men who lift won't be out of their BMI range while lean unless they're on celltech

Likewise everyone believes they have far more muscle on their frames than they actually do
