How do you fix a broken brain

Say you are addicted to something that's outside your control. Then your brain is for all intents and purposes broken since it's not acting as you intend it to

How do you fix it?

There’s a pretty good technique based on the fact that cravings only last 20 minutes so just redirect your brain for 20 mins

Reprogram your brain and find another addiction. Try and make it something useful.

It's a bad cycle

Ie internet addiction
so a gambler is addicted to gambling
but stay arounds casiono's and betting websites?

the same goes for an alcholic addict
always buy drinks/stick arounds bar?

addictions are hard, youll need to find 3-4 replacements
hobbies and stick with them for 180 day, youll drop some of them
but youll need to fill it again,

sadly with this current age
everyone is hooked with the net
and it became part of the essentials.1!.

You try to fix it. And if you fail you try again. And if you fail again you think why did you fail. And then you try again making the mistake not again. And if you fail again then you try to change things up and try again.
And you try and try and try until you succed. Or you give up and look into the abyss and jump.
Everything I post is trash.
