The whole thing is a bit unbelievable, and those fooking crooked DAs will do anything for some press coverage.

Wouldn't be surprised if he had a history of "blow me and I won't arrest you" type dealings. Full on rapes of 13 women while not hiding his identity? Seems far fetched. If that's the case, 263 years is far too harsh of a punishment. There have been literal murderers that have been sentenced to 15 or less.

I think I vaguely remember seeing some sort of "deep dive"/"conspiracy theory" video about this, and I can't remember for sure but I think their conclusion was that the department framed him or something like that.
