Cliffs:

- Man argues with his wife one night, she calls the police.

- He insinuates that she claimed he hit her. He ends up in jail that night with no evidence against him

- On administrative leave from his principal job until his case gets resolved

- The wife admits through text that she regrets calling the cops that it was never her intention to have it go this far, and that she admits he would never hit her or the kids.

- She also attempts to clear his name with little success.

- With the looming court case, possibly losing his job, name tarnished, he jumps off the Disneyland parking structure and dies.

Some years ago I worked with a guy that killed himself after getting arrested for hitting his wife. Caught his wife cheating which was why he hit her, then committed suicide like 2 days after his arrest when he was worried about losing his job (because of the arrest) and family.
