What even is the point of Amazon these days....?

Another article of Amazon bulldozing a customer after sending fake crap. Since they have really tightened up their refund policy shipping there's pretty high risk for tons of crap. I don't trust there crap not being comingled with shady 3rd party crap either since I've read how their process works.
I swear I read about fake chit every other week. I've got a list of chit I will never buy from them, and the list of chit that is acceptable is getting smaller and smaller. Shoes, electronics, supplements, food products, branded anything? Fukking nope. High chance of fake or chit seller screwing you over and not making it right.
On top of all that is that Amazon isn't any cheaper than any halfway decent online business. B&H for phones and optical stuff. iHerb or Lucky Vitamin for supps. In store for clothes and shoes. If it wasn't for the random weird chit I order and don't feel like researching I'd never order from there.

Same, I do not order skin care products for my family from Amazon and anything valuable I make sure is sent from the manufacturer.
Pretty much just dog poo bags and low value items. Even things like garbage bags and feminine hygiene products look sketchy some orders.

I get my Bcaa powder and multi vitamins from them. A bit cheaper than most stores. Occasionally get protein powder, but have you seen the prices. No thanks jeff.

chit i thought you could return anything to amazon and they wouldn't care.
ordered a pair of oakleys in like 2016 and they were definitely fake. returned no problem.
i have cancelled my prime account since then and don't use amazon at all anymore.
i was always skeptical of buying cologne from amazon. would always go to macy's or something even if it cost more.

LOL if you are still buying from Amazon.
99% of items are cheaper elsewhere
Most items are cheaper in store now
Before it was different
Now people do not price shop, they just think Amazon and click
Amazon knows this and pricing is jacked up
Plus you are just giving Jeff B and the globalists that hate you more money

Most of the items listed on Amazon are Chinese garbage purchased in bulk from Alibaba Express, then are resold by drop shippers after placing a fancy logo on it. Most of the reviews are bot generated as well.
One time I ordered replacement bubbles for my kid on Amazon. I figured 4.5/5 stars with a lot of reviews was good. Turns out they solution I was sent didn't actually make bubbles and after further research found that what I was sold may potentially be toxic for children.

That and the scheduling them. It would be great if there were alternatives to having to remember crap like that which is not even for me.

This is one story... Amazon actually has the best customer service out there. But they treat their employees like **** but offer great benefits.

I don't know about other countries but here in Japan, they are the best.
With the most reasonable price, they always deliver the goods the next day and refund if there are any problems.
Love prime videos, they always add more new titles and series than I can watch.

I use streaming services ro avoid paying for cable and now they're selling all these sub services within their subscription LMAO. Prefer ebay to amazon. Someone operating a small store on ebay cares much more about potential negative feedback than amazon who has half the planet as customers. They also heavily side with the buyer in disputes.
