Doesn't have to with being woke, it's because James Gunn is about to recreate pretty much the entire dc movie universe.

You're also talking about avengers endgame which has nothing to do with the DC movies being flops.

Finally. Maybe we’ll get some real movies coming out instead of this cgi comic book crap all the time.

Woke or not, comic book movies are trash and for gaylords.

I read that the movie studios have to produce content or they lose their rights to these characters, that’s why they will never stop making these movies completely and we’ll continue to get remake after remake

I disagree, the Dark Knight trilogy was awesome.

I just watched the new black panther movie, that was the biggest piece of chit movie imaginable.

The entire thing was centered around hatred towards white people. Lost all respect for Martin Freeman for being a part of that chit.

Man ... I dunno about James Gunn. I mean, I like his work on Peacemaker and The Suicide Squad. But those characters are some what comedic in nature, and James Gunn seems to be good at doing movies like that. But that won't translate well to, say, a Batman movie.

I honestly would've preferred Snyder's darker vision. If you want bright colors and non-stop comedy, with a generous helping of wokeness, you got Marvel for that. DC can be for the more darker and violent comic book movie.

Hes now the head of DC. So he has to promote the new GOTG movie for Marvel while actively being the head of DC.

Next week he is supposed to meet with the CEO and give him his 10 year plan for DC.

LMAO! As much as i loathe the cuckmic book movie genre, the DK trilogy is the only one i'll acknoweldge. I remember my friends dragging me along to batman begins when it came out. I was thinking what a waste of time it was going to be but by the end of the movie i was blown away.

opted out on the Marvel/DC superhero chit a long time ago

I've seen a few here and there but that's about it

never seen an Avengers, Captain America or Iron Man movie

have seen Batman, Spiderman, Wonder Woman and Suicide Squad

think that covers most franchises(?)

forgot, also have only seen 1 of the X-Men movies (Logan)

superhero stuff that isn't related to Marvel or DC usually chits on it as well

I'm talking about comic sources like Kick-Ass and Watchmen

Iron man 1, and the captain American trilogy are definitely worth checking out. Captain America 3 might be hard to jump into without watching all the other Marvel Movies, but you can for sure watch 1 and 2. 2 is especially good

The thing is, DC has some great characters, they just messed up every movie. Superman, Batman and even Green Lantern are great stories and possible franchises with some awesome villains but instead we got Wonder Woman and Aquaman.

I never understood how grown people watch these movies. I get it for kids but idk man. Not hate just honest confusion on my end. Someone explain the draw? I used to love fast and furious until like the 4th one when it was simply unbelievable. Guess you have to have a certain personality to enjoy.
