FDA authorizes Covid omicron vaccines for children as young as6 months old

The Food and Drug Administration on Thursday authorized updated Covid shots that target the omicron variant for children as young as 6 months old.

Children 6 months through 5 years old who received Moderna’s original vaccines are now eligible for an omicron booster two months after finishing their primary series.

Kids ages 6 months through 4 years old who have not yet started Pfizer’s three-dose primary series are eligible to receive an omicron shot as their third dose.

But kids in the same age group who have already completed Pfizer’s three-dose primary series cannot get the omicron shot as a booster at this time.

So what's your point? Babies get sick Benny. Toddlers and Kids get sick. A kid in Kindergarten will catch a nasty cold, and 2 days later he's back to swinging around on the monkey bars.

Like I mentioned here 2 years ago and the anti-science Left freaked out about, having a recent infection from one of the other 4 common cold coronaviruses provides strong protection against catching Covid. Study results have shown it's far superior immune protection compared to the mRNA shots, and minus the risks.

But you can't patent viruses that have existed in nature for hundreds of years.

There are unfortunately lots of 'life limiting conditions' babies are born with, where 100% of them will die within minutes to a year of being born, depending on the condition. Some of them are heart breaking, bring tears to your eyes horrific. Part of the reason I'm pro-choice. The US = medical reporting fraud. I know as of a year ago Germany reported they had ZERO "Covid deaths" among children who didn't also have life limiting conditions.

Yeah, pretty ****ed up when you read about a story, where the doctor literally tells the parents, "Your Child has this, as soon as he's born, he will die within minutes."

And what do they do? They have him anyway. Why put him, and yourself through something like that?

Babies born with all of their internal organs on the outside, extreme encephalitis, kids born braindead, other horrific situations. Herp derp, let's still have the baby even though they'll live in torture every minute until they die of sepsis or they have 17 strokes as a newborn before they die. I'd like to give those parents a 120th trimester "abortion." Anyway some of those kids catch Covid in the hospital or are born with it and they get tallied as a Covid death.

Just a small amount of the medical fraud being passed along as valid. Check those boxes on the forms so the hospital the child never leaves get reimbursed a fortune.

The "fearmongering" year end PFE, MRNA stock bonus pump is on...

Omicron subvariants that more easily dodge immunity are causing more than 70% of U.S. infections

"Covid infections and hospitalizations are rising after the Thanksgiving holiday.Cases increased nearly 50%to about 459,000 for the week ending Dec. 7, compared to 307,000 the week prior, according to CDC data. This is an undercount because the official data does not include the results of people who test at home.

Hospitalizations of people with Covid have increased about 14% week over week to more than 4,800 admissions per day on average, according to CDC data. More than 50% of those hospitalized are ages 70 and older.

CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky encouraged the public to mask up this winter to help prevent the spread of respiratory illnesses, particularly people who are living in counties with high Covid levels.

The CDC is calling on everyone who is eligible to get their Covid booster and flu shot to help reduce the burden of disease this winter."

10 jabs of old boosters should be able to keep up with the new subvariants...

Omicron BQ, XBB subvariants are a serious threat to boosters and knock out antibody treatments, study finds

Scientists, in a study published online in the journal Cell, found thatthe BQ and XBB subvariants are “barely susceptible to neutralization” by the vaccines, including the new omicron boosters.

This could result in a surge of breakthrough infections and reinfections, though the vaccines have been shown to hold up against severe disease, they wrote.

Key antibody drugs, Evusheld and bebtelovimab, were “completely inactive” against the new subvariants, according to the study.

New year booster goal...

Highly immune evasive omicron XBB.1.5 variant is quickly becoming dominant in U.S. as it doubles weekly

The Covid omicron XBB.1.5 variant has nearly doubled in prevalence over the past week and now represents about 41% of new cases in the U.S., according to CDC data.

XBB.1.5 is highly immune evasive and appears to bind better to cells than other members of the XBB omicron subvariant family.

"Scientists and public health officials have been closely monitoring the XBB subvariant family for months because the strains have many mutations that couldrender the Covid-19 vaccines, including the omicron boosters, less effective and cause even more breakthrough infections."

This is the biggest question I ask. When do you start asking yourself if a booster every 3-4 months actually makes sense.

It's a hot night. The mind races. You think about your knife: the only friend who hasn't betrayed you, the only friend who won't be dead by sunup. Sleep tight mates, in your quilted chambray night shirts.

You need to take a test first to make sure you are infected before you'll feel the symptoms.

Theoretically, if I only have recieved the 1st 2 mrna shots. And that was when they were first rolled out, at this point would it matter which boosters I would get?

Another theoretical, if I am still a pure blood which boosters would be recommended to me?

Would I still have to get the old ones?

Love how they constantly say “less effective” so that they can maintain the “effective” mantra. Recent study found out that the boosters are 30% effective(and I’m pretty sure that’s at peak protection window) against strains circulating during the study. If you go to work and get 30% of your workload accomplished will your boss say you’re being effective? The study also determined that each injection actually raised your chances of getting Covid over time. So 0 was better than 1 which was better than 2 which was better than 3 etc. Study discussed here.

If you haven't had any shots, I don't think it'd be a booster.

Thanks for the thread link.

That would be low key kind of hilarious if it weren't for the people who were simply getting the shots but otherwise minding their own business. How many of them might not have been so inclined to continue getting the shots if it weren't for the constant media pressure and fauxine zealotry, now that's a sad thing to consider. Not like those same fanatics are going to feel bad for any potential collateral damage they helped cause, though.

Do you think repeated infections would be different?

Autopsy-based histopathological characterization of myocarditis after anti-SARS-CoV-2-vaccination

Schirmacher and his team discovered that in 30 percent of the people they examined who died shortly after the Covid vaccination, that vaccination was the cause of death.

3/35 cases.

Since the base rate of myocarditis is around 1 to 10 in 100,000 people per year and we do not know the denominator of patients vaccinated in the authors' region during this time, we cannot calculate the expected number of cases if there were no vaccinations.

Let's say they had to for a job or some other strong arm tactic.
