Two sides of the house have floor to ceiling windows and glass doors (which is why she lost her mind when the ducks walked up to the house), so she can see it all without needing to be picked up or anything.

I'll try and get her excited about it before going outside. She likes wearing her boots, so that's one battle I don't have to have.

I am not a picture person, but my wife is. I imagine there will be a lot of videos with the snow. There has already been a lot of pics/vids with the christmas tree.

The only dangerous thing about an exercise is the person doing it.

They had the technology to rebuild me. They made me better, stronger, faster......

I'm trying to take tons of pictures, I know one day I'll need them to reminisce.

my wife takes more, but like Barteh said I try to stay in the moment.

Exactly the same here. I just have my girl text my mum pics and videos and they don't even speak the same language. For me constantly taking pictures ruins the moment.

For me it stems from really not liking being photographed/recorded, but I have had to work on that as my wife loves taking pics of me with the munchkin.

She has an enormous playpen and I used to take a mouse and keyboard in there and work on the big wallscreen. I came home one day to a 3'x4' framed photo on the wall of the study/home office of me asleep in the playpen surrounded by toys and the munchkin curled up asleep on me.

It's my wife's favourite photo in the world.

Feels. We've had little ones in our home for a long time. My oldest is a junior in high school and my baby girl turned 4 last month. It's our last time going through firsts with a child.

It's good. Time to move on to a new stage of life, but I'll miss having little ones.

I'm a better parent in some ways - more patient, I think wiser and more understanding. Worse in others. I'm in good shape but I don't have the energy I used to. My oldest son out hiked me backpacking last summer for the first time. That felt really strange. He'd been running all summer to get in shape for high school cross country and he could cover more miles than me. Never had one of my kids surpass me physically before. It's the circle of life I suppose.

But how do you feel about this country being run by ped0es? Seriously. One of my biggest concerns at the moment. Most parents are just NPCing through life, acting as if the elites/wealthy arent actively trying to sexualize and groom their children.

Keep her close and protect her. Chit is going to get real bad in the near future.

Yeah, I hear you. Each generation has its own set of challenges and very intimidating circumstances. I definitely think I break the NPC mold, and am aware but not paranoid.

Lots of future dads in here, ha. I hope you guys are doing all the right things. Or you gonna be in for a few nasty life surprises with lifelong consequences. I helped a woman deliver naturally with no tears, she already recovered fully only days after, baby super strong and healthy. Take this period in your wife’s life very seriously bros, loss of her body health and figure, hormonal imbalance resulting in depression and personality change, vaginal tears resulting in loose pussy etc. those are very real things, and I advice you future fathers to take action NOW to prevent all of that. You are about to have a horrific experience in a hospital, and about to witness your wife in insane inhuman amount of pain and suffering, all totally unnecessary, by the way. If you do things right she should push out the baby easily and not even need a Motrin after. Good luck.

Awesome thread. My kids are 9 and 7 and whenever I look at old pics of things from years ago I get all the feels. And those memories keep coming, they just change. Now I get to cheer for my daughter at her first track meet and gymnastics competitions, cook with them, work out with them, get to know what they really love.

I just introduced them to Star Wars and we do movie night every Sunday so did the whole series of movies, just finished last weekend. It's a whole different experience watching stuff with kids who have an entirely different perspective.

Biggest advice I got as a new parent and it has held true to this day is be patient and calm always and also follow through on everything you say.
