God of War Ragnarok

oh the disappointment, I cannot get into it at all. I just saved Tyr and we're killing the light Elves but I am getting tired of these lame puzzles of ricochetting my axe.
God of war 2018 was good and innovative but there's nothing new right now.

Is this gonna get better or pretty much no?

Exactly, and Sony is literally just pumping out bland sequels to the same old cinematic chit they were focused on last gen as well.

It amazes me how some people still keep falling for the praise for it, but then again they're the same suckers who keep buying into the PS ecosystem.

I thought 2018 was very boring. At least a third of the game is just walking, climbing, or rowing your boat around with zero chance of failing. It might as well be a cutscene. It took me like a year to beat it because I couldn't play it for more than an hour at a time.

Ragnarok looks more like dlc than a brand new game. I'll pick it up when it's on sale for $10.

Didn’t even bother with this one because the first one was trash. I’m shocked the one in 2018 was so well-received by people. I remember Spider-Man came out around the same time and it was soooo much more fun to play than GOW

It's essentially 2018 GoW with better enemy variety and story closure.

There are a couple more changes but I don't wanna spoil.

It's about as many as the last game. The mandatory ones aren't hard, and they're made even easier because NPC's won't stfu with hints. The real puzzles are for completely optional chests just like in the last game.

I enjoyed them, just wish I could turn off hints.

Yeah it was just okay in 2018. Nothing really groundbreaking. 6 years later it's playstyle is a bit tired.
