People dont rely on payments from the platform itself, engagment is king.

If you have engaged followers you earn far more through sponsorships than the platform can pay.

IG doesnt even pay you if you have more than 1m followers. Yet everyonr knows 1m engaged followers on ig is valuable as fk.
